I can not believe how much Maggie has changed the last couple weeks....

Maggie @ 17 Months Old

* About 21.8 lbs

*Wears size 3 diapers

*Wears size 4 and some 5 shoes

*Wears size 12-18mo. mostly, but still fits into most 6-12 mo.

* Just stopped nursing about 2 weeks ago

*Loves Chocolate Milk-wont drink plain

*Loves the movie "Dumbo" screams and giggles as soon as she sees it is on

*Still loves "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse"

*Favorite foods: Chicken, Chocolate, Rice, Strawberries, Eggs, Pop, Pizza, Raisins, Gold Fish,Cheese

*Words: Baby, Baba(binky),Lala(blanket), Bear Bear, Luh yo (I love you), Mama, Dada, Yeah, No, choc-chit (chocolate),kick-kick (pancake, cupcake),Mya,Lola, Papa(Grandpa)

*Still climbs up everything and anything

*Loves babies

*Likes to pick her clothes and shoes, if I don't put the right shoes on she kicks her feet and wont let me put them on till I get the ones she wants

*Loves to play outside

*Goes to sleep all by herself at bed time- she grabs her blanket, bink, and bear and lays down so we take her to her bed or rock her a bit

*Loves Molly to pieces-tries to say her name, but it proves to be a tricky one...Molly is always saying "Maggie, say Molly, come on say M-ol-ly"

*Loves to dance

*Likes to comb hair and loves getting her hair done-still doesn't take bows or headbands off EVER!

*Loves to be like the big kids..tries so hard to do what they do

*Could jump on the tramp for hours

I could go on and on about this little stinker, she is such a little firecracker and full of it. I can't get enough of her. She keeps me on my toes, but keeps me laughing. When I leave she sits next to the door and just yells "mama" over and over and over, it makes my heart melt. I love that she loves me so much. She is such a Mama's girl and is getting more so the last few days. She is always coming up to me, snuggling laying her head on my shoulder or giving me the best kisses. I love her so much. Happy 17 mo. Monkey Moo...

During Molly's swim lessons we got out the camera and every single one we took- she made a total cheesed face. I LOVED IT!  Scrunchy nose and all.... Gosh I love that crazy little girl!

 

And for comparison Molly and Mag at 17 Months Old...They are so different in looks and personality! I am one lucky Mom to have these littles in my life!

Short Little Trip Up North...

We decided to tag along with Janet this past weekend to visit Abbey. We have yet to see her house so we really needed to get up and see it I mean it has been a whole year...It was time! So Molly was in perfect behavior all week because I bribed her with seeing Mya the whole week. It was awesome. We also got to see Ashley's new place since they just moved back. Molly and Mya love each other so much and get a long really well.  I know the anticipation of this little trip for both Mol and Mya was almost unbearable they were so excited. Molly loved every single second of it all. Maggie wants to be a big kid, but is still just a little too little so she was really trying to fit right in with all their craziness....It was a far too short trip, but a well worth it trip.

 After dinner we headed to Abbey's. Matt was so cute to play with the girls on the grass, they giggled and giggled and giggled...The weather was perfect and a great break from all the heat we have been having.

 The first morning all a little goofy from just waking up. These girls could laugh with each other all day long!!!

 The girls love to have tubbies together, I think  every time they are around each other they have at least one!

I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked, my camera went on hiatus without me and didn't work right. But was had an awesome time, the kids even stayed with a baby sitter one night so we could go to a comedy show... We also hit up the SLC Farmers Market and Gateway... Cant wait to go again. Thanks Matt and Abbey for letting us invade you and Thanks Janet for letting us tag along with ya!

Celebrating America's Birthday!!!

These cute little jumpers were perfect for Sunday before the 4th... They looked so darn cute and might be my new favorite little dresses... They were both so happy and good @ church and looked adorable...

 We decided to brave the heat and go to the park for the celebrations, we got there a little later in the morning and it was already so hot-we didn't stay long at all.. Just long enough to let Molly go on a ride while Maggie played at the park and then loaded up to go home with some cotton candy.. next year we have to go earlier!! Molly had a blast and Maggie was way grumpy.... Molly didn't really have anything 4th of Julyish, I just never found anything I loved so I just whipped up this little t-shirt for her and it was perfect, except by the end of the day it was filthy...

 She loved this thing and wanted to go on way more great rides as she told me later...

 

Janet had taken the truck and parked it on the black hill earlier in the day so we didn't have to rush up to get a good spot to watch the fireworks. The truck saved our spot and we were right o the edge over-looking the city. It was a giant play-pen for the girls so I didn't have to worry about them running away or off the the mountain for that matter...ahem Maggie! So this was perfect Maggie had a great nap so she was in a much happier and goofy mood. Some of the fireworks scared Molly a bit, but over all she loved it. Maggie was pretty busy, but seemed to enjoy herself. They were both asleep before I made it out of the parking lot. It was a wonderful HOT 4th of July....

 Our Family Picture, out of every one Janet took Molly had her finger in her nose in ALL of them.. It is our real life so it is what it is right! I love it!

 

I thought this was funny- Both my babies in the same dress except Molly was 9 mo. old and Maggie is 16.5 mo. old.... That just goes to show the size difference in the two... Maggie is super tiny and Molly was a little chunky!!!

Movies and The Lake...

Last week Clint and I took Molly on a special date to see "Cars 2" while Janet was nice enough to watch Maggie for us. Molly thinks the movies are the greatest and does pretty good in them, she loves to get a special thing of popcorn, drink, and fruit snacks just for herself. She acts so grown-up and is truly so excited to get to do things like that and talks about it all the time. It was even more special since we made it all about her, just a special "Molly Date". It was so fun. Totally loved it, and Maggie had fun with Grandma Janet!

 She is getting so grown up and changes every day... I love it and hate it at the same time!

 She is such a nut!

 Today, my dad called us up while we were running errands around town and asked if we wanted to meet at the lake- he just got a little boat to play around with and wanted to get the girlies on the boat. So we didn't have suits of anything, but went anyways and had a blast. We went around the lake and then we even let Molly "fish" with her pole for a little while in a cool little cove. Molly was so excited to go to the lake sadly I think this is her first time. Maggie was a little unsure right at first, but after a few minutes she was lovin life. Molly liked to help my dad drive and Maggie liked when I hung her over the side to kick her feet in the water, she kept asking for more. Towards the end Maggie totally conked out, sweet little babe! It was so much fun we can't wait to get back out there with our swim suits and a tube!!!

 Molly was concentrating on driving-she took her job serious, my dad told her to watch out for pirates!
