Molly and Maggie Spring 2012

One of my best friends Camille Ence who usually takes our pictures, took the girls pictures the first of March. These are actually Maggie's 2 year old pictures- we waited till the blossoms were on the trees so it was a couple weeks after her actual Birthday- both my girls Birthdays are really close to the others 1/2 year so I had to get some of Molly too, there just weren't as many since it was mainly Mags birthday shoot! It works out perfect and the opposite in the fall! Camille does such a good job and the girls LOVE her so she can usually get them and their true personalities-Molly was being difficult and Maggie was so happy which is usually totally opposite!!

 They truly are best friends...

LalaLoopsy

My little Lalaloopsy lovers... this is the new rage at our house- We do chores to earn money to get new ones, Grandma Grape gave them each one, Maggie got one for the potty. They are so cute and the girls seriously LOVE them so much. Molly got started with 3 at Christmas and since has grown to love the little dolls. Maggie kept wanting Molly's so we decided to get her one. Molly has 12 and Maggie has 4! The funny thing is they both know exactly which one is there's and what pieces go with it. Molly knows all hers names and calls them by their names when playing with them or asking me "Mom do you know where "Lady's" pet is" They crack me up and I love watching their imagination with their little Lalaloopsy's!

 Molly loves Lalaloopsy's even more than Maggie, I don't have a picture of her with them, but I have pictures of what she does with them. It totally cracks me up- these have become her new obsession since her "guys" she still plays with her "guys" some, but most the time it is these little lovelies that take the cake in her world. Everything is better with a Lalaloopsy- She has been earning them by doing jobs around the house and random things. She got one for her x-ray too cuz that was all I could think of that would ease the scariness of the x-ray! .

Molly says that "Sally" is mean to the other ones so she gave her to Maggie to keep-so now Mag has 4

 I have shown this pic before, but this is just when she had 4 and the collection was beginning to grow!

It really is ridiculous, but I am glad they are so cute and they love them so much and they are cheap so I guess they can keep earning them and one day we may own them all!!! Maybe I should buy stock in the brand!  Anyways, that is the Lalaloopsy obsession going on at our house!

Molly was playing on some rocks at the splashpad in town *the water was not on* she was kinda standing on the side of her flipflop and just collapsed down hard onto the top of the rock she was standing on. I was watching her and bam, she was just down! It was so sad she screamed and cried pretty hard. Clint was right there and picked her up and dusted her off. She recovered after a few minutes and then continued playing with her cousins like nothing was wrong. 

March 13-15, 2012

The next day she could hardly move her leg or walk even 10ft. it hurt her so bad. I then just watched her and thought maybe she just bruised her bone or something and it would wear off. On Thursday we went to the park with some friends and I asked them to watch her and see what they thought. After watching her limp around really bad and try her hardest to play and climb-it took her FOREVER to just get up the stairs and she tried to slide down which just ended in tears cuz it hurt her leg. So that was that, I called the doc and they told me I should bring her in. I did, they did some range of motion things, poked and prodded and decided she indeed probably had a bruised little hip. He told me if she was still limping by the first of the next week to take her for a x-ray.

March 22, 2012

Come the next Thursday so a week in  a half after it happened she was still complaining and limping- I knew she had a soccer game that day and wanted it checked before I let her play. I took her for an x-ray which was awesome because we were in and out in about 20 min. She was totally freaked out and just kept asking me if she had to pull her pants down because she just didn't want them to see her bum!  I told her that they wouldn't have to pull her pants down and  if she was brave she could get a new "Lalaloopsy" doll. She was sold and was so brave, it did help they gave her lots of stickers. Before the first x-ray was taken she covered her face and wouldn't budge, after the first one she thought it was pretty cool and uncovered her face to watch. After they took the pictures they let her look at her bones and she thought that was pretty neat.  

We had to wait till the next day to get results so she did play her soccer game because she wanted to, but after about 30 sec. on the field she just started to cry because her leg hurt-it was so pitiful and sad. I felt so sorry for her and just wanted to zap her better. They didn't see anything on the x-ray no breaks or fractures so concluded she indeed had a bruised hip that was being very stubborn and taking quite awhile to heal. The nurse told me a 7-10 days- It took Molly about 15 days to be able to run again and not limp in the least while walking! Bless her heart.

m&m Mondays...

 Molly:

1* She doesn't like to get out of the car until the garage is closed- I don't know why, but she always asks me to shut the garage before we get out.

2* Molly loves to watch a movie before she goes to bed- she gets to on the weekends in the playroom and thinks it is the coolest thing to fall asleep in there while watching her show...

3* Can't wait to play soccer this coming week

4* Could play outside with her friends/cousins all day long every day

5* She doesn't really get her feelings hurt from what others say, she just blows it right off and I am so glad for that especially for when she starts school, cuz kids can be so mean. 

6*She does however get her feelings hurt if she sees someone get in trouble, or she gets told she can't do something that she really wants to do, or we have to leave from somewhere especially Grandma's house and she is not ready.

7* Loves Maggie with all her heart and hates when Maggie is sad, but she also is getting to a point where "Maggie is so buggin" and she needs her space sometimes!

 Maggie:

1* She is so 2 going on 16, she is all drama- everything is a super big deal good or bad

2* She always says "I just can't wait" when we are about to go somewhere or see someone that she loves

3* She is still having issues with poopin her pants- that is something we are working on, but she rarely pee's   her pants- I am trying to be brave and train her for night time too, just have yet to take the plunge into changing sheets every night for a bit!

4* LOVES chocolate/treats- she says "oooo chocolate" "I love chocolate mommy" "the chocolate one" This kid can find any treat there is around- we went to a party and she sat at the table and ate 3 cupcakes, some cake and then had a cookie and just picked the chocolate chips out and licked all the frosting off the cupcakes!

5* Loves being with Molly and doing whatever Molly or her friends are doing, she thinks she is just as big as they are...

After getting Maggie out of the shower and running to get her clothes well when I came back she had my mascara-she had just seen Molly putting it on in bathroom! Instead of getting mad or taking it away I just wanted to watch her and see what she would do... Man is she good at getting her own make-up on. Ha! I really don't think it is possible to have a little girl or kid for that matter that doesn't want and tries to put your mascara on... I think it's pretty cute the first time or until it gets all over everything! Maggie was adorable and so proud of herself and told me :

"I so be-ba-pul (beautiful) Mommy".. Yes Maggie, Yes you are beautiful Maggie K.
