4th Of July ..

This may have been one of my most favorite 4th of July's! It was pretty chill through the whole day just doing our thing we decided to walk to our little market and let the girls get 4th of July Do-Nuts! Cant go wrong with that to start your day right!

My girls were being extra special for pictures-especially Maggie you will notice her awesome pictures through out the day-  They were being so silly when I was trying to get a picture of them in their 4th of July attire!
I did get one super cute one though! Molly looks so grown up to me here it kills me!

Molly is obsessed with baby Rav- she wants to hold him constantly and gives us play by play of what he is doing-she loves him so much!

Maggie too loves to hold Rav- special Mag real special!!
The girls and I made this cake for our party, the inside was layered red, white, and blue too-
The food was the bomb as Maggie would say! It was so good we were all stuffed by the end, but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves! We love having parties at our house! It was so much fun to have some friends over and just hang out until it was time to head to the fireworks!

Side Note-When the kids went outside to play Maggie had to go in and get her "fancy skirt" on before she could go out and play! She also grabbed her purse before she could play! She cracks me up!

Trying to get Mag to smile for Clint she just closes her eyes and looks down, but she does smile! Stinker...

After we played for a bit we came in to have cake and cookies- You could say the kids really enjoyed the frosting!

Tipper and Clint had taken Tips truck up on the hill by the old air port earlier in the day so the truck was right on the edge over looking the town- it was perfect! We even were able to park right in front of it and not walk for miles to get to it! The girls were so excited Mol got started off on the wrong foot cuz she biffed and banged up both her knees before we even got to the truck- luckily Nikki had band-aids and we cleaned her up!

How cute is that the dads with their girls on the tail gate watching the fireworks!
Ky Ky came and met up with us since he is moving up north soon and wanted to get some girl time in with his girlies! They sure think he is the greatest ever! Both the girls just love him to pieces we are going to be so sad when he goes to school-luckily he will be close so we can still see him!
They were shooting fireworks off in 3 different spots in St. George-The red hill, Sun Bowl, and the old air port! We were surrounded the ones at the old air port were right above our heads and super loud they even had them timed with some music on a radio station, it was really cool-Molly was not a fan of the close ones and on the finale' she screamed and it scared her to death bless her heart! Maggie on the other hand kept saying " O wow" "Holy Cow" "O my Gosh" "I love Fireworks" she loved them Molly loved the ones far away! We had a blast and it could not have gone any better we especially loved the people we were with- It was a great way to celebrate our wonderful country and those who serve it and help to keep our freedom!
Happy Birthday America!!!

Swim Lessons

I was really nervous for Molly to do swim lessons this year since it is a fight every time and she really never truly enjoyed it! So I looked around for something a bit closer and was talking to Camille and she wanted to get Milo in lessons too I had a teacher in mind and it just so happened Camille's mother-n-law had a pool so we were set. Molly was thrilled to go to swim lessons with Milo and have London be her teacher- London teaches school with my mom so Molly knows her quite well!  While we were at it Maggie had a short lesson after the big kids- It was perfect Milo was swimming all on his own with no fear and Molly improved so much that she was jumping off the side solo not holding hands and swimming to the little Shamoo deck! I could not believe the confidence she had by the last day and how much she loved to go every single day. Maggie absolutely LOVED it and had no fear whatsoever I assume they both will be swimming before no time! Thanks London for teaching the kiddos and helping Molly become more confident!

Practicing big arms and breathing while kicking

This was a couple days into it where she still wanted to hold 2 hands when jumping in-what a change in just a few days!
 Swimmin Solo-way to go Molly

London was trying to get Mag to go under and kick her legs to the deck- she held her head so strong and was not going to budge going under- it was pretty funny- She has no fear to go under, she just didn't wanna do it!

Vegas...

We decided last week to go to Vegas this past Saturday just do get out of town and do something different! I have not been anywhere since September and Clint had just finished his class that was every day in June so it was the perfect time. Our good friends the Harris' decided to come down too! The only thing the boys wanted to do or requested to do was go to a buffet and go the the Zombie store- so with that in mind we scheduled it within our shopping! It worked out perfect and everyone was happy and the kids did awesome-every single one of them were so good and happy the majority of the day!

The only time Maggie got grumpy was when I had to wake her up from her seat to put her in the stroller! Molly was the saddest/grumpiest when we were changing them into their pajamas she kept saying "I just love Vegas I don't wanna go home, please just stay here and shop" In fact first thing she said this morning when she woke up is "Are we going to Vegas today?" We were going to spend the night, but Clint worked the night before and Tipper worked the morning after! So next time we made plans to go again in the fall and stay a night or two-

It was so much fun and I got Molly quite a few little things for school and for now since she is growing out of all her clothes! She tries something on and wanted to walk out of the store with it on-I had to talk her out of it almost every single time!

Lets go Shopping-
We went to the Rio buffet- it was pretty good no one could complain- Molly was in her glory with the fruit and desserts she was cracking me up! Mag just ate anything I put on her plate and then what was on my plate too! She thought her little ice cream and spoon were just about the coolest thing. She was eating my coconut ice cream and kept saying "Dat the bomb mom"

After lunch we were waiting for the boys by the exit to the casino and the girls were running around by this poster I thought it was funny and couldn't resist snapping a picture!
The Zombie Apocalypse store- The boys were giddy about going in here and checking it out! The girls stayed in the cars and let babies sleep and just hang out while the men did their thing!
At our last stop we finally gave in and let the girls get on a ride- they were going to ride the carousel, but it was 3$ a person and you had to have ones to buy the token so we opted for the 0.75$ ride instead.

We had a blast the kids did so good and the heat wasn't really that bad considering it was hotter there than here. It was a lot of fun and we can't wait to go back especially Molly-
