Maggie's Blessing Day!!

Maggie got blessed today on this beautiful Sunday morning. The weather couldn't have been more perfect and we had lots of people come that we just love to pieces, We were missing some of our family, but those that could come were so fun to be with and see. Most everyone Molly knows was at the church and she was in her glory walking back and forth between them all. I was nervous Maggie would scream during the blessing, but Clint said she was bright eyed and chill the whole time. Clint did such a great job-he is such a good daddy and loves both his girls so much. After we went to the Broadhead's for brunch and just to be with family and friends.
Papa Craig and  Grandma Janet
Big Maggie and Little Maggie
My Beautiful Mom and Aunt Jill- Papa Steve and Uncle Jim were busy chatting!
Becky and Magster
Molly eating her little heart out!
Tadd and Kara Gunther with the little miss
My sweet Daisy Girl

Molly and Sadie Girl
Beautiful Tes holding baby Maggie
I changed Mag out of her dress because she was so slippery when wearing it- Everyone loved giving her snuggles and passing her around.
Molly looks so grown up in these pictures, one of my favorite parts about the day aside from seeing everyone we love was watching Molly play with her best friends- She loves all these kids and doesnt get to see them much so I was so happy she could just run and play with them. The weather couldnt have been more perfect for such a special day. I love you Maggie K.

Deceiving Little Thing...

Don't let this sleeping beauty fool you.... She is a total 2 1/2 year old lately! She is way into NOT listening and testing us with everything, but one of her most favorite things to do is destroy her room! (she is very witty too, which makes punishing difficult because I'm trying  so hard not to laugh- too smart for her own good)  In less than 10 minutes her room will go from being spotless to a disaster zone! We are implying a new system tomorrow, whatever is not picked up by the time daddy gets home gets put up high for a few days, we are hoping this will help her out some in the long run. She will not be happy, but she's gotta learn some time right?

Everything off every shelf and out of every bucket!

For Fun:
Maggie is a total binky junky, I took this video a couple weeks ago, she was about 5 weeks old at the time I think- She has got to have her binky 85% of the time throughout the day! If she loses her bink and wants it she gets ticked and gets ticked quick, once it's replaced she's instantly happy!

Easter

The above picture pretty much sums up our weekend! We had a blast just like with Christmas since Molly is getting older she is beginning to understand way more and it makes the holidays so fun. I love Easter time:  it is just getting warm, there are pretty flowers all over and we get to be with family. It was especially fun this year because we have little Maggie with us.

We went to the Santa Clara Easter Egg Hunt- Molly tried to go over the line like 3 times before it was time to go. Once it was time to go she ran right for the plastic pink egg and then grabbed a ton of candy. Since she got a plastic egg she got a prize which was a new bucket. I think she got a total of 3 buckets for Easter:) She had a blast and wanted to do it again.
Right after the Easter Egg Hunt we went to my moms and had a waffle breakfast with extra treats included and the grandkids of my mom and Aunt Jill had an egg hunt as well. Jill made them these bunny visors which Molly kept on the ENTIRE time. She was lucky here too and found the only egg with a whole dollar in it. When we said go she got this fast little strut and made her way to the first egg she could see. It was so fun, I loved being with my family and sharing such fun times with them. My mom gave both the girls an Easter basket with some goodies in that as well. My girls are so lucky to have so many people that love them.

The Easter Bunny sure did visit our house. He even spilled the M&M's on the floor. Molly was very concerned and could have cared less about her bucket because she was so worried about the "Cannies the Eater Bunny spilled on the floor" Once we told her it was okay she got excited about her "prize" from the "Eater Bunny". Both girls got some little toys, an outfit, swimsuits, shoes and a few other fun things-Molly also got some "bubble dumb"(bubble gum)which she can't stop talking about.
 My sweet little Easter Flower-
(Molly wouldn't wear a headband long enough for a picture I wanted to get one of the two of them, but no luck this time.)
We also spent some time at Grandam Janets house. Mya was down and Molly was so excited and they both wanted to be wherever the other one was. Janet got them both bubble guns and Molly was so happy and carried it around all over the place. They even had some good trampoline time too. I love that Molly loves her cousins so much.
Mya and her trampoline hair:)
This is how we all feel now-
Totally wiped out after a great Easter weekend. It was nice not to have to go to church and be able to just watch Conference in our house. I always feel so happy and uplifted  after watching Conference, we have such great leaders of our church.  It reminds me how blessed I am to be a mommy and how important my job as a mommy is. My girls make being a mommy a pretty special job, boy am I lucky. If this picture doesn't melt your heart I don't know what will. Molly loves Maggie so much!

Catching up...

I uploaded all the pictures that I have taken on my little camera that I keep in my diaper bag so I have a bunch of random pictures from the past month maybe. I wanted to get all caught up before the Easter pictures take over and some of these get forgotten:) Enjoy-

Cute little Maggie Moo- starting to get rolls on her thighs- gotta love a baby body!
The other day I was getting ready and Molly had just gotten out of the tub, then I hear her say "Mommy, Help me" I go to see what she is up to and she has tipped over inside her clothes basket and was stuck-Such a goof ball!

I love taking pictures of my sleeping babies.. they look so peaceful and sweet.
Every time Molly would give Papa Craig a kiss she would say "O pokey" because of his mustache, well one day Craig told Molly to come watch him shave it off. She thought that was pretty fun stuff!

Gotta love this messy spaghetti face
Its too cold to swim just yet, so Molly is getting a lot of use of her pool inside @ my moms house- She likes to sit and watch her show in there, eat her snacks in there, or just play with her baby in there.
Waiting for dance class...
Maggie and T-Mac, I tend this little guy a few days a week and he is about 3 months older than Maggie- If I lay them next to each other they have a stare down. They are gonna be good buddies!
Swinging @ the Park
One night when we went to eat at Pasta since Clint was working, I got a salad and Molly grabbed this lettuce wedge and gobbled it all up- She also had big girl braids in her hair for the first time. She is getting so big.
O I just love looking at this cute little face-She is such a good baby and a total Mommy's girl already!
These are the little girls in Molly's class, we were watching them have their tea party at the end and noticed their cute little bunny ears so I snapped a quick pictures- I am impressed with how many of these cuties I got to actually look @ the camera. Molly LOVES dance!

One Year Ago.....

One Year Ago today I said "Goodbye" to my dad for now anyways. He was so sick and I am so grateful that he was able to leave peacefully and in no pain. It has been a bitter-sweet year without him, if he wasnt so sick I think it would have been harder to accept, but I know I will see him again and I know he is in a much better place and free of pain so it is an okay thing.  It is hard to wrap my head around sometimes like when I am driving in my car and feeling a little lonely I think to myself "I wish I could just call my dad" The last few months of his life I talked to him EVERY single day so it was a huge adjustment to not. It has been hard to not call him and tell him exciting things like when we were pregnant, what gender the baby would  be, when Molly says or does funny things, when Maggie arrived and her stats, and having him come hold her when she was just a few days old like he did with Molly. They say the first year is the hardest and I can believe that, I still can't believe it has been a whole year and I am grateful it gets easier all the time. When Maggie had that spot on her heart and it ended up being nothing to worry about I like to think it is an angel kiss from my dad. I know he has seen her and will get to see her, but it still makes me sad that I wont have any pictures of them together.
I got some pinwheels to put on his grave at the store awhile ago, Molly wanted to play with them and I told her they were for Papa's grave and put them up where she couldn't get them. When I got them out again she picked them up and said "Mommy, for Papa's grave" with the biggest smile on her face. When she see's pictures of him she knows exactly who he is, she either calls him "Papa" or "Papa No(snow)", I am so glad she remembers who he is and knows that he is in Heaven with Jesus. Its really sweet to hear her talk about it.
Now that it has been a year we have the opportunity to do his Temple work which I think is pretty cool, in fact we are going to do both his and his brothers at the same time, we are going to wait till sometime in the summer when we can get the name card and everything lined up. I am pretty excited about it and know he will be happy to have had Clint do his work for him since he can no longer do it himself:)
Saying Goodbye....

My all time favorite picture of Molly and my Dad

My dad and I when I was a wee little baby:)

Me and my Dad at Lake Powell when I was just about 3 I think (I look like a little boy with that hair cut-haha, I like Molly did not have that thick of hair!)
I Love you Dad....
