1st Ballet Recital

I would be lying if I haven't been looking forward to this day since we found out Molly was a girl!!!  My baby girls very first Dance Recital....She was so excited for her big special day, infact on the way to dress rehearsal we passed the studio and she had a complete meltdown thinking we were going to miss her show- I had to explain to her that we were going to the big stage and then she was okay again... She has made some good little buddies at dance and looks forward to going every single week. She has the best teacher Ms. Sheila and loves her to pieces.

On Friday morning Molly woke up and said "It's my special day all my people going to watch me"
Both sets of Grandparents were able to come and Molly couldn't have been more thrilled.

Here is Miss Molly @ Dress Rehearsal
you cant take pictures during the actual show so these are the action shots
 One of her buddies Samantha
Practicing on the big stage-Molly's in the middle
 Molly in the middle again
They end  of her little dance...
The Big Night... Isn't she the cutest baby ballerina
 Love those little lips

She danced so good, she really enjoyed herself and was adorable on the stage- they opened the curtains and she was ready.. She would dance along just like she was suppose to then she would just smile really big and wave then continue dancing- I think she waved like 3 times. I was a very proud mom and so happy she loves dancing so much. What a sweet little girl I have and I am so glad she had a good time.We took some pictures outside and it was way windy so Mol's thing kept blowing on her head!

Maggie @ 15 Months Old...

Miss Maggie is 15 Months old as of May, 12th.... I cant believe she is already that old, it doenst seem like that long ago she turned 1...
Instead of doing a ton of bullet points this month I decided to document a regular day for Miss Maggie....

After she wakes up it is breakfast time, this particular day she had "Lucky Charms" you can clearly see she eats only the marshmallows and throws the rest on the floor.
Then we usually color at some point in the day, she spotted the crayons right after breakfast.
She humors herself in climbing on many various objects and laughing when I get mad at her... broken bones and stitches are definitely in her future.

Before we go outside she takes a morning nap, didnt get a picture of that because it was so short! Then we usually play outside till lunch if we are feelin it and the weather is good. This car is ALWAYS her first stop of the morning excursion.

More coloring, this time with chalk- this too is a daily activity
I was lucky enough to buy this little "park" as Molly calls it from some people in the neighborhood that are moving-talk about score, both girls LOVE this thing.
After we have run ragged all morning it is time for lunch, I picked Maggies favorite this day-chicken nuggets and peas... She LOVES chicken nuggets and this day she ate 7 yes you read that right 7 chicken nuggets and all her peas. She started with 4 then wanted more so I cooked her 2 more then she at the one Molly didn't want!
Then its off to dreamland for about 2-4 hours depending on the day- naps and bed require the three B's in Maggie's world:  Blankie, Bear, Binky-check, check, check!
Usually after naps Molly comes in and we lay around reading stories and playing pretend of watch Mickey Mouse which happens to be the only thing Maggie will watch! This is her favorite book!
After she wakes up its off to go outside again... Lately after she wakes up we play in the water table, eat popsicles, go on a walk and then come in for dinner.
Since playing in the water and getting soaked its time for wardrobe change and a little diaper running around.
O, lets not forget more climbing is in store for this little stinker!
Then its time for dinner-(which we went to a party this night) followed by tubbies, books, prayers and beddy by...
Once again with the three B's
Off to dreamland to start it all over again the next day.... are you exhausted cuz I am :)
This little lady sure is changing and growing every day and starting to say a lot of words:
bye-bye
ni-ni (night night)
bahbe (baby)
booh (book)
Mama
Dada
MMMMMMMMMM (moo)
Papa
Pop
Poo-Poo
Baoh (boo)

Last but not least a comparison of my cute little girls at 15 months....

Orange - Lemon- Ice-Cream Drink...

The weather is definitely starting to heat up, with that I have wanted to get the girls a little something to play with when it is hot... We are in the process of getting grass so a little pool was out for now so instead we got a water table.  They also got those cute little chairs for Easter and they have been a real hit! The girls love the water table and Molly asks to play with it daily after Maggie wakes up from her nap.. It has been a daily activity with a Popsicle included!

Tonight on a whim Molly wanted a treat, we still had about an hour before bed so I decided to whip a little something up.. An Orange Julius (sp?).... Molly called it the "Orange-Lemon-Ice-Cream Drink" This is the first time we have made it and she totally loved it. I decided to let Maggie even get in on the action in helping to make it. She loved sticking her hands in the ingredients as they were being added.... Molly was so happy and drank the whole thing and chatted with us the whole time. I am sure she will be asking for this more regularly now....

The finished product... super easy and super tasty!

Maggie liked it too, but she was so ready for bed at this point she just tried a little.
Then she decided to crash on the couch... I love sleeping babies, and yes I still consider her my baby even though she is growing like a weed!

Sun Shiney Days....

We had Spaghetti for dinner the other night, Clint wasn't home, but the girls LOVE noodles. I decided to let Maggie feed herself with a spoon- I have been doing this a little here and there depending on what she is eating and the mess it may make. Well this night there were no other plans, but tubby time following dinner so it was the perfect night to let her make a perfect mess! She loved it and was so proud of herself and actually did pretty good getting it in her mouth!

That next night Clint was gone again and after tubs Mag and Mol made a run for it Naked and were running around like crazy being so hyper it was so funny- Maggie got a little ahead of herself and biffed and nailed her sweet little head into the floorboard corner. I was sure it would need some attention as I saw it happen, but surprisingly it didn't break the skin too bad, just a big dent and little cut....
Cute little Molly girl, she is getting so grown up.....
Little stinker- couldn't find her... then right before baths I walked into my closet and smelled baby powder and saw my skirts moving.. I pulled them back to find this little miss with powder ALL over the place mostly on Clint's black shirts, my skirts, and the floor....she was sure to say "I'm so sorry mommy" very promptly after I found her....
I called my friend Camille and asked if she wanted to go to the splash pad since it was so nice out- I knew the water might be a little cold, but it was a little over 85 degrees.. The kids didn't get too wet,(cuz it was cold) but sure had fun running from the water as it surprisingly shot up around them!
Molly and her new little buddy Milo
 I Love this Picture.........
Little Mag was all over the place and liked to walk backwards around the whole thing...this kid is a riot!
 How sweet is that....
I love Maggie's face in this picture...perfect action shot!
To say Maggie loves to color would be an understatement... This kid could sit at the table and color for an hour or more- it is more or less scribbling for her, but she loves it and Molly loves having a color buddy!!

My sweet Grandma Snow as Molly calls her "Grandma No" just got back from a cruise and dropped off these shirts she picked up the girls..Molly was so excited and wanted to wear it right away Molly's says "We be Jammin all dey time" and Mags says "Jamaican Me Crazy"... I  love them and so do the girls so sweet of her to think of them on her cruise!
Fresh little beauty out of the tub.....
