Just over the weekend

Wow, I have been on a picture taking frenzy lately so there is a lot of posts to come..... First up, I will show a little of the excitement we had this weekend. Really it wasnt too exciting, except my moms whole family was down and we hung out with them a lot. Molly had a fun time playing with her cousins and being outside a whole lot. She got to see her "grandma grape" and "grandpa kent" who she now refers to as "cowboy grandpa kent" (she has been watching Toy Story a lot this week, Clint wants her ready for the new one) She also got to meet one of my mom's brothers and his family for the first time. We hadn't seen them since Clint and I got married (almost 5 yrs ago). Clint has been a working fool, along with taking a class so we havnt seen much of him lately, but we have still managed to stay pretty busy.

Heres my two cute girls in the shirts I just made for them. Molly loves to match and loves letters so this is the perfect shirt!
My little brother had just gotten home from a camp @ Fort Williams (or something like that) so he was in his full uniform, he looked so grown up. He wants to be a pilot and go into the Air Force.
Mom, Cody, Grandma Grape, and Grandpa Kent
Funniest thing happened while we were at my Aunts house sitting on the deck eating delicious cookies. My cousin was holding Maggie and all of the sudden said "umm, I think a bird just pooped on the babies head" We all looked and my grandma and mom were freaking out, but I had to grab the camera.  I know I am a freak, but how often does such a tiny target get pooped on by a passing by bird? It was on her for head, cheek, and a little on her shirt. She didn't seem to mind one bit!
Towards the end of the night it was pretty late and Molly climbed up on the counter while we were cleaning up. I turned around and she had opened the  2 liter Diet Coke and well the picture speaks for itself. She is definitely both of her grandmothers girl that's for sure.
It also rained like crazy on Saturday so once Molly woke up from her nap, Maggie just happened to fall asleep so I thought it would be fun to take just Molly out and play in the rain. She loved it, and loved jumping in the gutters in all the rain. She laughed so hard when the cars would pass and spray a ton of water all over the place.
These two LOVE each other. Molly is always asking to "holga Maggie, my seester"
This little girl is such a happy little thing and is ALWAYS smiling...
Also, Maggie has really taken a liking to this blanket that I made for her before she was born. She will snuggle with other ones too, but if she is tired and I can't rock her I can lay her with this blanket and she is out in seconds. Or if she is upset in her car seat even in the 100' weather I can lay it on her and she calms right down. I love that she loves it so much. she loves it by her face and holds it tight between her hands when I rock her.
And, here is my little girlies all snuggly in their jammies tuckered out after such a fun weekend....

Maggie is 4 Months Old

Miss Maggie is now 4 months old (on June 12), she is at such a fun age right now, I love this stage when they start to interact a little, but not all over the place yet- she is the sweetest baby full of lots of smiles for everyone.
Some things about Maggie @ 4 Months:
13 lbs. (just under 50%)
23 1/4 in. (50%)
Still eats every 2 hours except @ night
Size 2 Diapers
Size 3-6 mo. old clothes, and can still fit into some 0-3
Size 1 shoe, they are still pretty big
She still is a total Mama's girl
She loves to be held all the time
Will let you know when she is done and wants her Mommy
Loves to have Blow-outs on a regular basis
Loves to follow what Molly is doing, she could keep her eyes on her all day
Tolerates Molly's extra lovings all day long
Totally loves the pool
Kicks like crazy in the tub, could stay in there all day long
Can Roll both from Back to Front and Front to Back
Smiles @ everyone, especially right when she wakes up
Can grab and play with toys
Loves to put toys/hands into her cute little mouth
Still hates her swing, and I mean totally hates the thing
Loves her Bouncy Seat, Bumbo, Jumperoo, and the Sling
Sleeps through the night
She went to the dr. today and had to get her shots, Molly came and was feeling left out, after Maggies she even said "Mommy, My turn" so she got some band-aids too without the shots :) She checks out happy and healthy and was all smiles for all the people until those blasted shots came about. She has not been happy tonight and just wants her mommy to snuggle her. I'm not complaining about that part though- I mean generally she is really snuggly, but this is just a little extra.

Molly and Maggie seem so different to me @ this age, they have their similarities, but still look so different. Maggie is so much more petite than Molly, even her features are a little more petite. Molly @ 4 mo. was 16 lbs. and 25 in. so that is 3 lbs/2 in. bigger than Maggie @ 4 months. Also, Molly was sitting up but not rolling, and Maggie is rolling but not sitting :) O how I love my girls so much, they are both growing and doing so well.
Happy 4 months Maggie Doo, I love you so much!

A little Hoopla.....

This is our first picture in front of our first house!!! We are finally all settled in and I am almost done decorating the rooms the way I want them. Then I will post pictures of them all!
Molly loves to jump up on our laps when we are holding Maggie, she thinks it is so funny and feels extra special to share our lap with her "seester"
I made my sisters baby a little doll for her baby shower off of a pattern I got from my cousin, I tweaked it a little to make it my own and then I decided to make each of my girls one too- Molly loves to dance around with hers and sleep with it. Maggie loves to hold it in her little hand and slobber all over it. I love that they love them so much. There is nothing sweeter than sleeping babies, o they are so precious!
Molly is obsessed with "matching" Maggie lately, I just can't help it because I love it just as much I think it is so fun. They always look so cute when they match I have to take a few pictures- a few usually turns into a ton because one or the other will not cooperate for me, it is usually the older of the two, but we will not mention any names here....
This is just an example of some of the out-takes and then the best one of them all!

Molly has been WAY into picking and smelling flowers lately, well I picked her up some fake metal flowers the other day and she just sits in her room and smells them all day long. Whenever there is a flower that can be picked she picks it and makes sure everyone gets a chance to smell it, then she carries them around and sets them in the sweetest places for me to find later, I love it. Just today I found one on the computer desk, I just can't help but smile about it.
And here are just a few of my little Maggie Doodie, she is so smiley, way more smiley than Molly ever was. She smiles right when she wakes up and will smile if anyone smiles at her or even just talks to or about her!
This is her little Naartjie outfit that my mom picked up for her and it is one of my most favorites!

Park City 2010

Every year we have the opportunity to go to Park City with my moms parents and stay in a condo all together. It has gotten kinda crazy since all of our families have grown so Grandma said "no guys allowed" so Clint got to stay home and hang out while we went and played in Park City!

This is "Grandma Grape" as Molly calls her
First night we were there we couldn't help but jump in the pool well jacuzzi for that matter there were some that were super hot and some that were like warm bath water so the kids could play in those ones. Maggie had her first swim and totally loved it. Molly jumped in before we could even put our towels down and get in with her- I think this summer should be fun with both my little fish.
This is Molly jumping in I think this picture is pretty funny with both of our faces!
My girls loved waking up to their "Grandma Kara" and "Grandma Grape" each morning and having banana bread or as Molly called it "cupcake" and fruit. Molly was so happy and goofy the entire trip.
Good Morning kisses from "Grandma Grape"
One night we went to my sisters baby shower in Salt Lake so we decided to spend the day down there. We went to Ikea and the mall and had a blast. I found my new favorite store for the littles called Naartjie they had such cute things and best part was they were all on sale! I made the girls their little shirts well sewed the flowers on and the ruffles on Maggies bum and they are some of my favorites.
We had a few minutes to kill so we went to the Murray City Park for a about a half hour to let Molly run off some energy...
Molly and Bria
The kids loved watching cartoons together in their jamies.... Vann, Maddox, Molly
Molly and Maggie both got new jamies from Naartjie that match
"Grandma Grapes" room had a giant bath tub that the girls loved and Maggie totally splashed for ever as happy as can be.
We did some shopping at the outlets and just hung around the rest of the time- We even did more swimming which both my girls loved, Molly got a little sad at the end because she was getting super tired, but still had a blast!
The girls were so good the entire trip and as a bonus Molly only had one accident the entire trip- talk about amazing on her part! The car rides there and back were even good aside from having to stop to feed Maggie and take Molly potty, and two road side stops on her little potty:) On the way home we stopped and got an ice cream and once we hit Beaver my little Molly talked the whole rest the way home, it was so funny she was jabbering her little heart out. Thanks Mom for taking us with you and thanks Grandma and Grandpa Great for the fun trip!
