Wow, what a beautiful weekend we have had. We didn't do much Friday, but packed a lot in on Saturday. We decided to head up to Springdale/Zion with my mom and dad since my dad was going to be in the "St. Patricks Day" Parade up there to promote his and his buddies new restaraunt "The Flying Monkey" that opened up there the same day Maggie was born. My dad was driving his corvette ahead of their float a ways and wanted Molly to ride with him. She absolutely loved it and was the hit of the parade waving and saying "Hi Everybody" as they drove down the street. St. Patties is a huge deal in Springdale and everyone around comes to join in the fun and most everyone is totally decked to the "t" in green. While Clint and I were waiting for the parade to get to us we were totally entertained just people watching. After Molly was done there was still plenty of parade to go so she came and got to get LOTS of candy, it was like Halloween all over again. Every time they threw stuff to her she giggled and ran fast to get every last piece. It was such a fun day and a great way to spend our weekend. We did the parade thing, walked around a bit, and ate lunch at the restaurant. We are planning on going back lots more and maybe next time we will actually make it into Zion and hike around.
Molly was so proud of her purple bows she was all smiles when I pulled out the camera-that is rare for her these days, she likes to hide when we pull it out.
Takin in some rays during the parade!
Now these weren't the Red Hat ladies today- No No No it was all about decking out in green on this special occasion. These ladies were right next to us and what a kick they were. Made my whole day!
Molly showin her stuff in the Parade, She was so much fun to watch!
Gathering lots of Candy
After we got home, Molly rode her bike a tiny bit-she is still trying to figure out the pedaling part. Then she busted out the chalk-She loves to color with it and eat it too-some things never change!
This is a picture of Miss Maggie this morning, she woke up all smiles and I couldn't resist snapping away with the camera. She has been smiling for about a week now, but they are happening more frequently now and I just can't get enough of that gummy smile and wrinkly little nose!
This is a compiled bunch of videos into one- 1st is Molly the other day in the car-2nd is Maggie this morning-3rd is Molly from a couple weeks ago. Enjoy!
