"More Soup?"

"More Soup Mommy" is what I hear pretty much all day long. Molly loves to make me "soup" in her kitchen and once I "eat" my soup she wants to make me some more. She is getting more and more in to playing pretend and I just love it. She has also been way into her dress-ups lately which I also love-she is a sucker for dress up shoes!

This is one of her current favorite books "The Hungry Caterpillar"
She still LOVES her horse and rides it daily- she has been SO happy and fun lately. I love watching her enjoying life so much. She loves to play in the tub-the other day we got out her fun foam and she had so much fun- we practice her letters in the tub with this stuff. She knows every letter in the Alphabet now, she can point them all out. She also points them out when we are out and about and she tells me which one she is seeing. Its so fun to watch her learning so many new things.
She got on the cupboard today and was pretty proud that she found the Cinnamon sugar bowl-She was eating it by the spoonful!
My sweet Molly started her second session of dance class today- they do it in semesters and she started the second one today- She has grown so much in this area, she used to just cry when I would leave her in there alone(she is totally fine and enjoyed it if I was in the room) Now she sometimes is a little shy to start, but once she gets going just LOVES "dancing school" as she calls it and can't wait to show everyone the ballerina stamp she gets at the end. She is getting so big!I was looking through old pictures of her and I can't believe how much she has changed in even the last couple months. She looks like a little girl now, not a baby at all to me. Her hair is getting super long which I thought would never happen. She is very independent, but still likes her mommy around which I love. They are only little once and I am trying to soak it all in. With the baby coming pretty much anytime I just keep thinking about how my little Molly will cope with it all. I think she will be just fine- in fact today she told me "Mommy, baby out now" so I think she is getting more excited and into the whole thing. She will always have a special place in my heart, for she is my FIRST little baby and that cannot be taken by anyone else.

We are getting everything ready for Maggie to arrive and getting pretty excited. There isn't much more to do than just wait. I have a doc appointment on Wednesday and we get to see how things are progressing:) I can't believe in just a few weeks we will have 2 girlies-how exciting!!!! Clint is getting a little nervous for how everything will pan out- the unknown of when she is coming is tricky because he has to prepare for a sub for a couple days and can't do too much ahead of time. All in all we are ready for this little lady to come and know she will come when she is ready so we just wait and watch!

Sunny Afternoon

It is so nice outside right now. It has been chilly in the mornings, but the afternoons are perfect. At my mom's house today Molly helped "papa" clean his car. She was so careful and loved helping. She is big into helping with whatever we are doing so this was perfect. After she was done helping she just played around on the rocks, kicked her ball around, and practiced pedaling on her bike. She is getting better and better and can get a few rotations of the pedals down before she gets stuck. It was so sunny and nice we didn't want to go inside or leave for that matter. Molly had a blast and I love that it is getting a bit warmer to make playing outside more enjoyable. My mom even has some flowers blooming-This is why we live in St. George.

Drying Papas CarKicking her ball all over the place
Running fast to help
More helping Papa
Climbing on the rocks- She loves climbing on rocks and this is her new face she likes to pull.
Bike Riding
This is from a few days ago- she just looked so darn cute I couldn't resist.
This is a little video or Molly laughing her head off at Ally- Ally got Molly's drum sticks, put a linky toy thing (like the one int he above picture) on the end and then would fling it across the room. Molly thought it was SO funny and has now learned to do it herself and does it constantly.

Molly Moons a Senator.....

Senator Bennett
Sweet Innocent Molly JWell, I am sure by now you are very curious of how these two faces have anything to do with each other. Well the other night Clint was working at Pasta and I took Molly in to see him and get some dinner. We were sitting on the patio and just about ready to go when Molly had a little accident-(she is doing really good with the potty, but didn't quite tell me in time) Next door Senator Bennett was eating and he too was just finishing up. Well, just as he walks into the door Molly started stripping her pants/panties off because she didn't want to be wet. Well, the Senator just chuckled out loud as Clint pulled her pants back up and the Senator then said "Now that's better!" Whoops! Leave it to Molly to Moon a Senator and she is just barely 2 years old.

Molly's Legs Saturday Morning
Molly's Belly Saturday MorningThe Back of Molly's legs Saturday Night-the rest of her body looked pretty much like this too!Molly Sunday Morning in a Soda Bath
WAY WORSE THAN SATURDAY!

Molly Sunday Night- Still just as bad if not worse than in the morning
Her Belly Button and under her arms were the VERY worse along with the top of her little thighs.

We had quite the weekend- Molly woke up Saturday with little spots and we had NO idea what they were from. I thought first hives then chicken pox or roseola. Well after showing her to both our parents we thought hives and gave her some Benadryl to keep her from itching. Well Sunday morning she woke up like 100% worse then the day before and was even more miserable. I needed to make sure she wasn't contagious since I tend kids all week. Well we decided to take her to Insta-Care and see what they say and if they can up the dose of Benadryl to make it actually work. Well after IHC they confirmed it as hives and told me to double the dose of Benadryl. Last night was the first night Molly has slept through the night in about 5 days and she took a killer nap yesterday as well. This morning she woke up looking a million times better and she still has spots all over, but they are faded and not swollen or itchy. She had to miss dance this morning and was pretty sad- I didn't want people to freak about the "circle owies" all over her. She is on the mend and I am so glad. We still don't know what the cause was or what she is allergic to that would have caused this. We did nothing different this week and she didn't eat anything unusual either so I guess we will never know. After hives and an overdose on Motrin I am ready for a very slow/calm week!
PS: the pictures do not do the hives justice at all!

Little Stinker

This cute little lady has been kinda naughty this week. Her 2 year old molars are finally popping through so I guess that may have something to do with it.(they have come up and down for months-hopefully this time they are here to stay) I also think that getting back to our normal routine has been an adjustment since school and tending started up again this week. Anyways, she has given me a run for my money this week- She hasn't done anything extra naughty just little things here and there with a little molly-tude added in the mix. Although this week she did indeed drink some Children's Motrin while I was in the shower and luckily Ally was here and grabbed it away from her-that incident was followed by a call to Poison Control to the nicest most helpful lady ever! Yes, she was fine and the lady said the only thing that may happen is that Molly could get a belly ache or just get really sleepy- (taking a big fat long nap on this day would have been extra helpful) but no she didn't get one bit tired.I am so glad she didn't drink more- it scared me so bad and I just felt horrible. That was probably the naughtiest thing she has EVER done, but that grouped with all the little things made for a very long week. Today she was back to my happy, nice Molly so it is all okay. When looking at these next pictures I can't help but laugh at my silly little girl who despite her little bits of being a stinker always seems to put a smile on my face and knows when to say " I wuv you mommy" and give me a much needed hug.

Molly got into Clint's X-box supplies and got right into character...
These next two pictures are self explanatory and her little seat is cleaned daily so don't be alarmed:)

"Say Cheese" enough said....
And days when she is the naughtiest, I can't help but think how sweet and beautiful this little girl truly is. I love you Molly J. even on the not so great days!

Ice Skating....

This past weekend we went to the Ice Rink here in St. George. It really is a great thing to have in this town. It was way crowded so we didn't rent Molly any skates. We just had my dad take her around the rink and she thought that was great especially when Clint was chasing behind or they were chasing him. She was so happy the entire time even when on the side just watching everyone skate. I didn't skate for obvious reasons, but had fun watching. Molly also thought it was her duty to clean up the "ice" from the ground that came off the skates by eating it. Yes, I know its pretty gross, but she is two and she eats EVERYTHING so I was not surprised, we had to distract her with my mom's drink:). It was a lot of fun and I bet we will be there a lot more especially if they have it up again next year.

Clint and Molly-Clint did so good, he hasnt been since he was 8,but you would have never guessed.A little bundled up kiss from my favorite girl
Our little family, Molly was a bit distracted...
My mom and dad-My dad used to play ice hockey when he was younger and was in heaven to be out on the ice again.
O she's a dandy - this is an all time favorite picture of mine for sure! My classic Molly~She was so happy!
All the boys out on the ice-they so didnt want their picture taken.
