Happy Birthday Uncle Ky Ky

Happy Birthday Uncle Ky Ky----- Ky is turning 19 on Mon. January 5th

Molly loves her uncle Ky Ky so much, in fact he is still the only name she can say besides Mama and Dada! She loves when she sees uncle KyKy and especially when he has Mt. Dew, she will point and beg him for some and he usually obliges. He calls her "chug" and I think he is going to miss her so bad when he leaves on his mission and in turn Molly is going to miss him so much, she will be 3 yr. old almost 3 1/2 when he gets back from Taiwan. So we are going to put this picture in her room while he is gone. Ky got her this Jazz jersey so she can support the team while he is gone and she can bum with him and his buddies while they watch the games for good luck. Happy Birthday Ky we love ya!

14 Months Old

@ Caesars Palace in Vegas Yesterday-looking at the fish!
A 14 month old??? What the heck, when on earth did that seem to happen??? The time continues to fly on by especially during the holiday seasons. Molly is growing so much and learning new things every single day. I can't believe how grown-up she is looking, she doesn't look like a baby really to me anymore she is beginning to look a lot like a toddler.
Some new Molly things:
  • New Vocabulary: Ball, Shoes,Balloon( Sounds like Ball),Whats this (sounds like ws dis), Whoa,Wow,dis(this)
  • She LOVES animals especially dogs. She things that every animal makes the doggy sound its pretty funny how excited she gets.
  • She has a new found love for balls I think ever since she can say the word she likes it more
  • She loves her puzzles she got from Christmas
  • Her favorite book is also one she got from Christmas-Its a touch and feel farm book.
  • She loves shoes-her shoes or anyone elses, she tries to put Clint and mine shoes on while she has her own on too!
  • She can take her diaper off now which has been proven to be a very bad thing except when she is getting in the tub she takes her diaper off and throws it in the garbage.
  • That brings another thing up she throws everything in the garbage:money, shoes, books, toys, food she doesn't want, EVERYthing
  • She got a Minnie Cell Phone for Christmas, but insist on playing with mine and Clint's REAL cell phones-
  • She has also just recently figured out how to open the toilet lid another BAD thing!
  • Has a lot of fun tearing apart her room more than once a day and taking off all the books at least half a dozen times a day.
  • Is becoming more and more of a mamma's girl, doesn't like it too much when I leave, but eventually gets over it.
  • Every time she sees a can of pop she FREAKS out and points and says"uh uh uh" or "dat, dat, dat" until she gets some or we hide it. I think she is following both of her grandmas footsteps I think we have another Diet Coke addict on our hands!
  • She still loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and will sit and watch a whole episode
My little Molly keeps me on my toes that's for sure, but I would not have it any other way. She continues to warm my heart and make me smile and laugh daily. She is such a ham and loves to laugh when other people laugh, which in turns makes us laugh harder. I guess its true when the say "laughter is contagious". She is becoming such a cute, fun, beautiful little girl. Shes definitely not a baby anymore which makes me sad, but happy at the same time I guess. She has her own likes and dislikes made up pretty well. We love this little butter-ball and sad to say she is thinning out at least in her thighs. I guess it had to happen sometimes, but I just love those smooshy and delicious thighs and tooshy. She is what makes us a family and a happy one at that. She is so sweet, and loving and we love her to pieces.
climing in the dishwasher, after just finishing an oreo-just a little messy right?
This is a little video from before Christmas-Molly doin the SnowMan Boogie
I also posted some new pics on my photo blog- with the new year I hope to polish up this new process of pictures I guess you could say!

Christmas Time

This Christmas was so much fun, Molly still doesn't really get the whole Santa idea, but sure had a good time. It was Christmas with my family this year so most of it was spent there. We did do some running back and forth in order to accommodate both sides of the family. We all got a lot of great things. Molly made out like a bandit-She got 3 of the same kind of toy one for each house-ours, and both grandparents. I think that will work out just nicely. She got a lot of fun things and has been playing with each thing at her own pace. It was a very Merry Christmas with lots of family and time to remember our Savior. What a great time of year, Clint just mentioned that Dec. 26 is the worst day of the whole year-he may be right! We hope every one else had a great Christmas.
{warning} lots of pictures ahead!

This is Molly's Christmas dress-doesn't she look beautiful?

Funny Little Lady

Molly has been so funny lately, she has this little shopping cart that is just her size and as of last week she pushes this around downstairs every single day all day long. She puts the most random things in and will just push and push till her little heart is content.
If you notice on this particular day Molly decided to cart around: Her sippy cup, a ornament off the tree, a dirty diaper, and a shoe!

Molly also loves to play with my Nativity from Ecuador. It is perfect for her because it is wood, not glass so she can't really break it. Her favorite piece is of course Baby Jesus. She will carry that thing all around with her if all the pieces aren't down at her level. It makes me so happy when she plays with it, it makes us think about the true meaning of Christmas. With all the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season sometimes the real meaning of Christmas gets over shadowed so we like to have it in our house and "touchable" for Molly so we can all remember what this season is all about.

This was at the Nativity at our stake center that has a ton of different Nativity's to look at and there is a kid section where the kids can touch everything and you don't have to worry about them breaking anything.

SnOw DaY!!!!

Hip-Hip-Hooray! I love SNOW DAYS! Since school was canceled today Clint was able to stay home-I was totally excited about that, I love the kids I tend, but it was kinda fun to have a surprise day off. Even though Friday is the last day of school before Christmas break, but it was still kinda fun! So we took Molly out in the snow last night, but she wanted nothing to do with it and just wanted me to hold her. So this morning we took her over to my moms since they had about an inch more snow and a nice big yard to play in the snow and make a SnOwMaN.
It was so much fun, Molly even helped push the snow balls around. We were putting the top ball on and poof the whole thing tipped over and I fell into it, freezing, but funny! Molly gave me a kiss and wanted to play in the new big pile of smashed snowman. We did manage to roll up another SnOwMan and I think he turned out pretty cute. Clint doesn't like the snow much so he was in charge of the camera! By the time we were done, Molly kept biting her gloves off and just wanted to pretty much stand in one place and eat the snow. Clint would tell you she ate her weight worth of snow today! She face planted a couple times and got a little off center and couldn't stand back up which was very funny to watch. Have a little kid makes SnoW and Christmas so much more fun! It was a fun day and I am glad school was cancelled so Clint could stay home and play with us.
This is last night-I was showing her how to catch snowflakes on her tongue

Called to Serve

Uncle Ky Ky received his Mission call tonight. It was so exciting and you could feel the spirit so strong, as I was recording with my camera I had the chills as he read where he was going. His hands were shaking so bad and Janet was standing behind him and could hardly stand it. That is her baby going on a mission-It is really surreal. When I first met Ky he was still in middle school, I just can't picture him being old enough to go on a mission. We are all going to miss him so much, but at the same time are so proud of his decision to go. He is going to be such a good missionary and I know he will be able to spread the gospel to so many people. It is going to be very hard for Molly(and me) to not see her Ky Ky so often, but it will still be good. She will just have to draw him pictures and what not. O my goodness I still just can't believe it. So, to see where he is going watch the video k(sorry its a little dark)- He leaves March 4,2009! We love you Ky and are so proud of you. Good Luck Elder Broadhead!
In case you don't hear it well he is going to serve in the Taipei, Taiwan mission speaking Mandarin Chinese!

This is Ky and all his buddies!

This is Ky pulling his sad face with Molly cuz she was crying-She is going to miss him!

TeMpLe SqUaRe

This past weekend Molly and I had the opportunity to go up to Salt Lake/Bountiful with Janet and Matt's mom Nadine! It was so much fun we drove up on Friday after school got out and headed on up. It was very nice weather-Just enough for a coat and gloves, not much else. We had a lot of fun Friday night going to Temple Square. It was so busy with people every which way. It was so beautiful and the "Manger" scene really brought the spirit to it all, Molly kept pointing at the camels saying "rou rou rou"(that is what she says the doggy says) It was a lot of fun- On Saturday we went to a baby shower for Abbey-due in January with Molly's first Girl cousin. Then Janet, Abbey, Molly, and I went up to the outlets at Park City! I love those shops and found some cute things for some pretty good deals. It was a lot of fun and it was fun to be with family. I was really sad that Clint couldn't come(not that he wanted to come, he and Kyle had a bachelors weekend I guess and I know he had a lot of fun) but we still missed him and especially wished he could come to Temple Square with us.
PS:There are a lot of pictures, but I couldn't just pick a few
