I had planned on taking the girls the the "Live Nativity @ Tuachan" sometime in December, when my little brother Cody told me he was going to be Joseph on the 23rd so I saved that day to go. Clint had to work so it was just my mom and dad and the girls, it was kinda a rush to get there, but once we got settled and in it was perfect. We were really far back the first show so we decided we would go see Santa then come back in and watch the play again. It was perfect the second time we were on the front row and could see everything perfectly. Maggie kept waiving to Cody and yelling, "baby Jesus" everytime she could see the baby and then when the real camels came out she freaked! She loved them so much and was so excited. Molly was sitting on my moms laugh and just taking it all in. It was the perfect way to remember the true meaning of Christmas and made it that much more special since Cody was able to be Joseph for the night!
Between the two play times we got in line to see Santa. Molly was good with this one and actually talked to him for quite a while, Maggie kept running up to him during every ones turn ahead of us. She was talking to him so intently and just so happy to be with Santa again! I am still shocked at how much she LOVED seeing Santa!
Right after Santa on our way to find seats Molly slipped on some spilled hot chocolate and landed right in it! She was so sad and I told her we could go on the swings after. She was so excited and could not stop smiling the whole ride! Maggie was trying to smile, but also holding on for dear life at the same time!
By this point Molly was exhausted and just wanted to go home- she was sad cuz her bum had chocolate on it, she was cold, and just wanted her own hot chocolate. So my mom treated us to some extra tasty hot chocolate and we headed home.
Molly was so done and not wanting to do one more thing, Maggie just wanted to go see Santa again!
