Our fun Weekend

What a great weekend we just had. We had the opportunity to travel to Logan,Utah to see Matt and Abbey graduate. We are so excited for them and were so happy to share in their exciting time. Although the car trip was not that fun, especially with a baby who is done with her car seat by Provo. We made it though and had some great family bonding time. We went to the graduation and then went to a place called Celebration Park(I think) Where they have a bunch of fun rides. Matt, Kyle, and Abbey bungee jumped and went on the Sonic Boom, and the rest of us rode the Swing, Sling Shot thingy(I dont know what it is called) and then we rode the Go-Carts. Ky won that race but I spun out Janet and she is never going to let me forget how mad she is about it. All in all it was a great trip and we are glad to be home, but had so much fun and loved hanging out with our great family. We love you guys.

Happy Half Birthday Molly J.

Yes, Yes, Molly is now 6 months old and the time has flown on by.She turned 6 months on April 26th and in that 6th months she has totally changed our lives. I really don't even know what we did before she entered our family. She is the sweetest little angel in the whole world and I would be lost without her precious little spirit to make each day happy. She makes everything happy and adds a smile to anyones face. She is so full of energy and I am sure she will be scooting around her in no time. She tries and tries and then gives up so we will see. She is a total goof ball- I don't know where she gets it:). She is so full of life and happy all the time. She eats like a champ. She sleeps so good and always wakes up with a smile. . She is always giving loves and will sometimes give kisses. She loves to be snuggled and for me that is the best time when she snuggles me and just wants me to hold and cuddle her. She is such a good baby and the best thing that ever happened to us. ,umn,mj kjjmmkkkvvbhgg f n y g h j (that was our sweet Molly) At 18 pounds 7 ounces and 27 1/4 inches long there is a lot of her to love and believe me we eat up every last bit. We love you Molly J.

What a great week....

This past week was very busy. On Tuesday we took my mom and little brother Cody to the opening of IN-N-OUT. It was so crowded, but totally worth it -really we only had to wait for like 15 minutes in line and then 10 minutes for our food - the worst part was finding a place to sit. It was so good and exciting. Molly ate her first french fry and just loved it and was so so happy. We have been to the park like 3 times this week and had so much fun every time- Molly just loves the swings. On Friday night we picked up Halli and Tes and picked up a pizza at Little Caesars. We then went to Clints classroom and watched "Evan Almighty" on his projector. It projected onto the white board so we would pause the movie and draw funny things like mustaches and what not on the actors. They thought it was so funny especially Tes she was obsessed. On Saturday we went to a dance competition in Parowan with Holly Hendrickson to watch Hailee dance and we also watched Daisy. Such cute little dancers it made me really excited for Molly to dance when she is older. We got to see Maggie while we were down there and that was very fun because we don't ever get to see her. So one more exciting thing is Molly had her Half Birthday on Saturday the 26th I will do a post on that once she goes to the Docs on Wednesday-more shots booooo!!! She has a new thing with her toes-SHE EATS THEM! What a flexible little lady.We are also looking for a house now or a place to rent until we find a good deal on a house-WAHOO one more step forward to growing up!(so scary)

(ps I have created another blog for people to find and if they want to be added to the list of people who can view our family blog then they can leave a comment there with their email-thanks for that idea Jenna- Our other blog is.... briellebroadhead.blogspot.com)

A Much Needed Vacation...

Molly and I went up to Provo with my Mom and Aunt Jill. It was so much fun we met my lovely grandma up there and sister and cousin Marissa and her family. Molly was so good the whole trip and slept good, ate good, and was so happy the whole time(by Cedar on the way home she was done with her car seat) We went up to get away and see Marissas newest little bundle of joy. I haven't been on a girls weekend i don't think EVER because I was too little and then I didn't want to go with the ladies and then I got married- so needless to say it was fun being one of the "GIRLS". Molly can come anytime they all said because she is such a good little baby. Maddox, Marissa's little boy who is just about 3 years old fell in love with Molly and when we left their new house he cried at the window saying, "Molly, Molly, Molly" How cute is that? Molly had other plans it looks like because she learned how to give little kisses and gave them to Vann like a crazy women. It was so cute to see how soft Maddox was with Molly and Vann, and how Molly was so sweet with both the boys. They love each other so much and just smile when the other one is paying attention to them. We bought them all matching jammies at the "Disney" store- the boys in Mickey and Mol Bol in Minnie Mouse. It was so funny to put Molly and Vann next to each other because Molly is a giant compared to little Vann. We spent a lot of money, had a lot of fun, ate good food, and just enjoyed each others company. As fun as vacations are its also so nice to come home- we both really missed Daddy.

Catchin the Breeze.....

This past weekend was so warm - we set up the little pool and played in it 2 of the days. It was kinda cold water so Grandma Janet got boiling water in pans and kept bringing it out to the pool to heat it up. It was so much fun. Molly is a little fish and just wants to go head first in the water and then sucks a bunch of water in and just does it over and over again-such a goof ball. We took this picture for our start of the summer picture and at the end we will take the same picture and see how much of a tan line our little swimmer has. Wouldn't it be nice to just run around naked and it be accepted. This little one loves to be free and we let her be as much as possible because she gets such joy out of it. (she cant stand up yet, she was just leaning on the pool and we were holding her up right until we took the picture) So this picture is especially for ASHLEY we know you will get as much joy out of it as we did- we miss you guys and can't wait to see you soon.:)

Good Times

We have had a lot of fun this past week and thought we would share. We have been swimming for the first time with Molly-in a baby pool and Molly just loved to be in the water with some of her toys to chew on. She also got a shoulder ride by grandpa and really enjoyed that. This week we also had the opportunity to tend the Vanlehn girls. Halli had to go to school so we didn't see her much, but Tes and Ayla were all over sweet little Molly and lucky for us she puts up with all the little girls wanting to hug and love on her. Molly has just about the same amount of hair as Ayla and shes is almost 2, we tried out a pony tail and we had success. It was a lot of fun and we want to do it again really soon. We also went to the park to swing again, since the first time we went Molly had such a good time. Ally loves to push Molly in the swings and thinks it is so funny. There are also some pictures of Molly from today- we dressed her in her baby legs and she looked so cute I had to take some pictures. In the picture at the top if you look really close you can see her 2 bottom teeth-so so cute! I love those little nibblers shes got now.(there you go Ashley) We have had a great couple of days lately and are so glad for the time we get to spend together. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place where we can go out and play whenever we feel that fresh air itch. We are also grateful we get to spend quality time with our families and close friends- we love you guys!

One Sticky Fun Mess!

Okay I know I just post, but I just could not resist. Tonight we went to dinner with Kyle after the Priesthood session for conference. Well we each got an Ice Cream Cone and well the rest is history. We lately have been giving Molly a little taste of the good things in life (I hope she is okay after this :P) and so I had Ice Cream and she kept reaching for it so I held her hands back and gave her a little taste of its goodness. Then I looked up and when I looked back down to have some Ice Crea--Molly thought it was hers, grabbed it and pushed it toward her mouth the whole top fell off and onto the table, and she still kept going at it. Her little cheeks were so red and she was so proud of herself.(as you can see in the last ice cream picture) It was so funny Kyle and Clint were laughing so hard and I just had Ice Cream all over my pants, shoes, daughter, her clothes and the table. One sticky mess that's for sure. I just know she had a good day because her shirt was a bit dirty at the end of the day.

Then tonight when we got home it was straight into the tub as you can imagine-Molly loves the tub and can sit up all by herself in there and loves to chew on those foamy letters that stick to the wall. It is fun to play with her in the tub because she just enjoys every second of it and tries to drink all the water-total SPAZ, that's why we love this sweet little bundle.

When we got out of the tub and dressed for bed we had some laundry to put away and dumbed it on Molly and played Peek-A-Boo, she just loved it and thought it was so funny. What a fun-filled evening.

Best Buddies

This is Sadie-Molly's best little friend. We tend Sadie every other Tuesday and Sadie is finally getting used to us and this past Tuesday I put both the sweet little girlies on the floor to play and they stared at eachother and tried to grab eachothers toys. It was so cute and fun to see Molly with a little girl just about her age. Sadie is 7 months old and Molly is 5 months so they are pretty close. Sadie is the daughter of a really close family friend, so it makes it even more fun to see her grow up with Molly. Molly's FIRST best friend-how cute!!!!
