Last little while....

I don't know what it is with dirt and chalk and my children, but they are both obsessed o and crayons too- they both eat these things as if it were candy or something. It makes for some very messy children and cute pictures.... Maggie loves these pots my mom planted and brought over to our house. She gets in them a number of times a week.... On this day I decided to try her hair in pig-tails she doesn't have much, but I had to try this is the convo me and Molly had after she saw Maggie's hair...

M: Aww, Mommy, Maggie has ants on her head (antennas)

M: Yeah mom, she is a caterpillar like a buggy bug

 Magster found this cinnamon sucker and went to town, it was pretty hot but she didn't seem to mind

 These are Molly's two best friends Woody and Jessie, she carries them around all over the house and takes pictures of them and makes sure they eat their lunch and take naps....love that imagination she has!!

 She is looking so grown up, she is losing her baby look and looking more and more like a little girl- she is slimming down and growing taller....

 Little stinker is so obsessed with toilet paper and playing in the toilet...

 She was so proud to wear this new dress to Sunbeams last Sunday... She looked so beautiful and even told her teacher she was ready to listen and give the prayer because she was in her brand new dress!!!

 With Ky coming home Mya was down and we decided to throw them all in the tub before bed

 Yes, she licked the chalk off the sidewalk...much like Molly used too!!!

 Maggie LOVES Kyle, she will just walk up to him and sit right on his lap like she is happy as ever, I am so glad she loves him so much... He is so cute with them, they are so glad to have Ky back!!!

Viva Las Vegas...

First up before we get to out little trip to Vegas I have to throw this in there... I have two tech nerds on my hands one being 3 1/2 and the other 1 years old.. My mom has 2 IPads that she got and uses at school and she brings them home, well Molly has mastered them and decided to turn each one on and put it on a movie.. first one had "Toy Story 3" and second one had "The Grinch" well she decided they needed to watch each other. She has done this on a few more occasions since-cracked us up! Then we have Mags who thinks she is big stuff and can do these things too, we like to let her think she is...

 VEGAS:

Clint and I were going to go up North and with it going to snow and such decided to stay home this past weekend, but didn't want to just stay here so we decided to take a day Vegas trip. It was so much fun, we did it a lot when Molly was littler and havn't been in a while. We wanted to make it fun for the girls and add shopping into the mix too, I promised Mol that if she was really good we would go to the giant toy store at Caesars Palace. She was so good all day and looked forward to it since it was the last stop, turns out we got to Caesars and FAO was gone, but in its place was H&M so it was not a total loss and Mol fell asleep before we got there anyways. It was so much fun I hope we get to do it again soon and the girls were dream children considering being in the car and shopping all day long!!!

We thought the lions would be fun to go see and they did not disappoint, both girls LOVED them!!

 She even loved the egg drop soup!!!!

It was a great weekend and I am sorry to say its over..........here is back to reality!!!

What a Welcome...

First off this was one cool day!!! The anticipation of seeing this cute kid was killing everyone and once we saw him through the glass it was over...He looks so great and is so fun still, he is not "weird" at all he is just regular ol' Kyle and we just love it. We have already had lunch once and he came over to our house and hung out for a few hours tonight!! The girls absolutely LOVE him, Molly gave him "5" and a big hug no questions. Maggie even went to him and loves him so much. I think besides Janet, Clint is the most excited for him to be home-Welcome Home Ky...

2 years ago....

2 years ago April 1,2009 my dad passed away, I can hardly believe it has been that long. It seems to get easier with time, but hard in different ways. I know he is up in heaven watching us, sending mishevious vibes to my children to torture me every now and then. When we found out Maggie had a spot on her heart my sister in law said it was probably an angel kiss, now I know who it was from:) I know he has "seen" Maggie, but it still makes me sad that I don't get to "see" him "see" her here now or see how much Molly has grown and how funny she is or to see Clint and I's first house. I know he is so much better off and I am so grateful he was able to pass away and be done with his sick body.. The best part is this week we finally got the papers to be able to do his temple work. It is going to be so great to be able to get this done for him, I am so excited it all worked out and can't wait to go and have Clint go through for him.... I miss him so much, but know I will see him again.

Coming Home...

I can not believe it has been a little over 2 years since Kyle left on his Mission to Taipei, Taiwan .... and now HE IS COMING HOME  in less than 2 days... He will be home Tuesday night, I can hardly contain myself. I can only imagine how Janet is feeling, having your son let alone your baby come home off his mission has got to be pretty special. 

Molly is getting more and more excited as are we, I  am glad she doesn't really get that he has been gone that long so I hope they mesh as well as they did before which I am certain will happen. These two are serious buds in fact "Ky Ky" was the first name Mol ever said besides Mom and Dad. I can't wait for them to be re-united and for Kyle to finally meet Miss Maggie.... When Ky left Molly was 17 months old and now she is just a month shy of 3 1/2 (41 months) and Mag is 13 1/2 months old so pretty close to what Mol was when he left- pretty crazy!!! So Tuesday couldn't come sooner, we are so proud of him and so ready to have him home to party with us!!!!!

The Christmas before Ky left he bought Mol this Jazz Jersey so she could show support while he was gone!!

A little Taste....

One of my best friends Camille Ence took some pictures of the girls for me today, I was telling her how I failed for Maggie's 1 yr. old ones and asked if she would be willing to do it for me...My kids co-operate better with someone else I guess because they turned out so good... Even though these were Maggie's 1 year old pictures I thought I might as well get some of them together and some of just Molly since she is just shy of 3 1/2 yrs. old now. I am so excited to look at all of them a little closer, get some ordered and up in the house!!! I can't believe how many of Maggie's sweet faces she got, each one so reminds me of her it is crazy,same with Molly too!! Thanks Camille I love them so much!!

They are both getting so big, I am glad we got around to it this week before they grow one centimeter more!!
