2 Weeks and more Beautiful

Molly is now 2 weeks old and she just gets cuter and cuter every single day. She smiles on occassion, but not at anything in particular I suppose it is just gas! She still is sleeping so well during the night and she eats like a champ. Another new trick she has learned is to really suck her thumb, she has always been a sucker of her fingers and sometimes gets her thumb, but now she is just a thumb and binkie sucker. It is so cute! We took her to the dr. for her 2 week check up today and she now weighs 8 lbs. 8 oz. just about a pound since she was born. She is also 22 inches long now a whole inch in 2 weeks. She couldnt be more perfect and the dr. said she is growing just like she should. She is so much fun I just love her to pieces. She had to get a pku test done where they prick their heel and take blood on a paper thing that they have to send to the state health department where they check for 35 different things. It was the hardest thing to watch I was just fighting back the tears and she was crying real live tears alligator tears. It was so so sad and she is still not happy and just wants to be held. My precious baby was crying more than ever and there was nothing I could do about it. So So sad, but she is okay now because her daddy is home and can snuggle her.
