Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles...

We have had  a busy week so far- no real plans for either day, but seemed to have kept up with activities.. We spent the morning Monday at the splash pad from 10-2 Girls loved it and happened to have lots of buddies there- later that day we went swimming with my mom and Molly was pretty tired from the splash pad, but Mag was achin to get in that pool-she loved floating in the fish, but wanted her life jacket on the whole time she loved it! Hopefully Molly will warm up to the idea of swimming soon-

Mag blowing bubbles in the water....
This morning while the girls were eating watermelon I decided to let them do something different and crazy- I got about 2 in. of milk in each cup with a straw and added a few drops of food coloring to the milk. The girls were giggling and oohing and awwing for over 30 minutes. they already asked me if they could do it again tomorrow! It was not really even that messy, and they really loved it especially when it came over the side and down the cup!

This afternoon we had gotten some bubble toys from my moms house and it came with about 25 different bubble tools/wands! Maggie asked about doing it all day long and I promised after her nap we would "play bubbles" Along with the milk bubbles the girls were giggling at all the bubbles they were making and it was a little windy so they were going everywhere!

We sure are loving these lazy days of summer where we can do whatever we want on a whim and not have any real plans! It is so much fun with these girlies and we do have a few other fun things planned for the rest of the week so we are staying plenty busy not being busy!
