Molly's Birthday Party

O what a Birthday this little lady had. We seriously celebrated all week long with little things here and there. She started with her "friend" party @ Jumping Jacks. Then Saturday night we had the "family" party. We had been running around town all day Saturday picking things up here and there and Molly was short on her nap. So when party time arrived she was not a very happy girl. Along with the lack of sleep she was knee deep in the awful cold that has swamped our house. And to top it off nicely those 2 year old molars are coming in (finally) and taking their precious time. So with all these things stacked against my sweet 2 year old she was fairly happy. She was very clingy at the party and didn't really want anything to do with anyone, but was fairly content until little Vann snagged goofy off her cake and the melt downs began from then on. She didn't even open all her presents, we took the ones from us home and let her open them on Sunday and Monday. I think overall she had a good time and probably just a little too much for the little thing in one day.
This is her cute cake- I knew I wouldn't have time to make her cake so we ordered it with the words on it and then I added my own touch. She LOVED her cake and LOVES the little figures and carries them around everywhere!Right after Goofy got snatched and then put back on- Its her Birthday and she can cry if she wants too....Admiring her cake before the party started...Some Party Snacks while waiting for people to show up...
The hit was the watermelon all the kids had like 3 pieces each. Molly was so messy, but what can you do- it was keeping her happy!Grandpa Craig and Molly- He was the only one I got a picture of because she was with me pretty much the whole time. All her Grandma's and Grandpa's were there including one set of Great Grandparents. More Watermelon...Random Party pictures. Molly got spoiled by everyone and has played with each thing. She loved everything and once we got home she actually was able to see it and enjoy it a little more. Thanks everyone for the thoughtful presents. Blowing out the Birthday Candle...Eating some Birthday cake... Still not in the best of moods!I believe she is upset in the picture, but what can you do... She sure does love this cake:)Opening Presents at our house the next day after she had a good nights rests, she was much happier and ready to rip into those things.On her actual Birthday on Monday we gave her a Pink Cinnamon Roll with two candles in it to blow out. She thought that was pretty cool and had a pretty great day!

Aside from her little bit of grumpiness, I think she had a great Birthday and loved everything she got. Thanks mom for lettings us have her party in your back yard. It was perfect, although I do wish she was happier, but what can you do kids have their own agendas... To name a few of the things she recieved: a new baby, dress ups, a stroller, a pony, clothes, jamies, and other fun things. So all in all a great Birthday week for my Birthday Girl.
