Last week the girls started Ballet- Molly could hardly wait to start again and Maggie was more excited than ever to finally get to go to her own class since she is always just watching Molly it was now her turn. They both could not get their dance clothes on fast enough so we had plenty of time to take their pictures before we left.
Sweet girl loves her rain boots so much! She insisted she wear them to ballet even though it was 110' and blue skies-whatever makes her happy! She also did not want her picture taken very much so we are lucky I got a few!
Maggie on the other hand could have struck pose after pose for hours in her new ballet clothes showing me her great dance moves-she takes this very seriously!
I guess we need to work on pointing those cute little toes...
I am not sure why, but Molly strikes this pose whenever I tell her to smile cute-Such a goofball!
Molly was so over pictures and too excited to sit for a picture at this point- Once we got to Ballet Maggie's class was first I was nervous she would not go in alone since she wont even go into nursery alone and was glad her best buddy Lexi was in her class-There are also a couple other little girls she knows in her class and she thinks it is so fun to go with all her friends! We went in and I had given her a pep talk about being a big girl and going to ballet like Molly and Mom has to stay out and wait to hear all about it. Well surprisingly enough she walked right in and got her dance on- she could not stop talking about it all week and was so excited to go back today and walked right in no tears or looking back! She was one of the few the first week that just walked in and did what Mrs.Sheila asked and she totally loved it- She got to dress up as Rapunzel , with a tutu and wand, and with a teddy bear and told everyone she knows all about it.
At the end they get to have a little tea party- Mag may have stolen her neighbors cracker but gave it back when asked :) and then she proceeded to help clean up all the plates and cups! She was so happy and absolutely LOVED the tea party after dancing so hard!
At the end she finally got her pink ballerina stamp- she has seen Molly come home with one for so long and finally she got her very own stamp Look at the excitement on that cute little face- I would say we have another dancer on our hands who takes her moves very seriously!
Molly loved her class too and she got to be the leader during the across the floor things- she is the oldest in her class she is in the 4 yr old class since she doesn't turn 5 till Oct. so she is taller and older than most all the little girls she feels pretty special to be the oldest.
She has not been totally loving Gymnastics so just this week we decided she will finish up this month then take a break till next spring or summer and try again- since she isn't doing gymnastics anymore she asked if she could do tap- so we signed her up today and bought her her tap shoes and you would have never believed how happy those little tap shoes made her- she actually got to try the class today with borrowed shoes and she thought she was so cool and loved making the tap noise with those cute little shoes- She had a blast and said her favorite thing today was tap class. So glad it made her so happy and love that they both love dance so much!
