Christmas Eve...

First up before Christmas eve, I have got to put the girls annual Santa Picture on here before I forget!
We had a busy day of running around getting last minute things for Christmas Eve and then we all met at my moms house since my Grandma (Grandma Grape) was down we changed things up a bit and were at my moms more for Christmas Eve than we had planned, but it all worked out perfect. Trying to juggle between two families in the same town can be tricky, lucky for us they both get it and so it works out...

The girls were excited to be with their second cousins Vann, Bria, and Maddox while at my moms house, we were glad we finally had enough kids to act out the nativity. We may have had a Knight (wiseman) and 2 angels, but we made it work and every one still got the same idea as my Grandpa and the girls Great Grandpa Kent read from Luke 2 just like he did when I was Molly's age. I am so glad my girls get to know their Great Grandparents on both sides. Since they were coming down we tried to spend as much time as possible with them.

My sweet Grandma brought down some of her Christmas decorations and let each great grand pick out a treasure to keep for their decorations at their house. Maggie toted that Santa/Tree around all night, and Molly could not get enough of her wooden Mouse she picked out she was pretty proud and kept saying "Mom, I have got to show everyone this little mouse,  it is just so special and cute"..

While getting the kids dressed for the Nativity, Molly was so not happy about being Mary and dressing up-She said "Everyone will laugh at me mom, I don't wanna talk" I reassured her she didnt have to say a word and just had to hold the pretend baby Jesus. After a few minutes and a mild melt down she was ready to rock and played sweet Mary perfectly... Maggie was an angel and she fit her part perfectly too- She loved getting dressed up and picked out her very own costume.

Brought back lots of memories from the little photo shoot we did with Molly for the Nativity when she was just barely 2
This is Molly's un amused face- she got to open one present and my mom gave each of my girls a little bag inside was a little bracelet with an "m" on it and some other little trinkets with chap stick and a coupon for Menchies and such. Molly was so un amused at the idea and did not like it and the looks on her face said it all and had everyone laughing - Then we heard Maggie opening the same present and saying "o my gosh, new chapstick awww tute bracelet"

After wrapping up things at Grandma Kara's it was time to head to Grandma Janet's to have more partying. We got there a little later, but she had a present for each of them to open and it was matching jammies. They were so excited and tore their clothes off to get those new jammies on.  They loved that they matched each other. It was fun to line them all up and see who could get a good picture out of them and the majority looking and smiling is no easy feat with 5 kids 5 and under. Love looking at all their cute little faces and wiggly toes so exciting to be together, matching and celebrating Christmas-Nothing better, not one thing!
