Ecuador

Holy Cow! I can't believe it I have been back from Ecuador for just about 2 years now and I can't believe how fast the time flies. There isnt a day that goes by that I don't think of those precious little children that I had the opportunity to help and in turn they helped me in a much bigger way. Every now and then I have dreams about my little children over there in that small country of Ecuador. I love to look at the pictures of their sweet faces. How could you not look into their eyes and fall in love instantly. If you were to have a bad day and then look at one of their smiling faces and into those big dark eyes it makes the whole day happy again. How could your heart just not melt when you see their sweet little faces? They are the sweetest children and I hope and pray they know how much they are loved and how special they are to so many people. Oh, my sweet sweet children.

These are just a few pictures of the sweet faces of the little children in Ecuador.

This is a bunch of pictures from the waterfalls and the Continental Divide in Ecuador of course.

These are just a bunch of random places around Ecuador: Soccer Game, Around the Town, The Guyaquil Temple(i know thats not spelled right).

Baby Shower!!!!

Well we had our baby shower last weekend. It was so much fun! We got a ton of sweet presents and they were all so darling I wish she was here right now so that we could dress her up in all her fun new clothes. She is getting so big which inturn is making me get so big.. O WELL! A lot of people came and we just chatted and opened presents it was really relaxed and just fun to be there. Maggie and Becky put it all together and did a fantastic job, everything was so cute and fun. Now we just have to wait for her to come so she can use all this fun stuff. We only have about 6 1/2 weeks left and can hardly stand it. She is kicking and moving so much lately and the best is when she gets the hic-ups. It is just so fun!

The Start of Something New

Okay it has been almost a month since my last post. Life has been crazy we are trying to get ready for the baby and now that Clint has started school it has slowed down maybe just a little. He is teaching 4th grade at Sunset Elm. and has a class of about 25 kids who are all really cute and not too difficult (atleast not yet). He loves teaching and even though he is exhausted he has a lot of fun.
We only have 8 weeks until our baby girl is due which is not long at all hopefully she will come in like 6 weeks that would be even better. It is so fun to get the baby stuff and put it together, we have her craddle up and stroller and car seat are ready to go. The anticipation is killing the both of us and we can hardly stand it (neither can our parents)
I have just been tending during school hours and it is really fun I tend 3 2 1/2 year olds a 5 year old when she is not in kindergarten and it is really fun to listen to their little conversations and imaginations. I love it.

Tests....

Okay so these past 2 weeks we have basically been playing the waiting game. We go to our next Dr. Appointment on the 7th and then from then on it is an appointment every 2 weeks. Last week I had to get a 1hour glucose tolerance test to check whether I have gestational diabities(it is a routine test for everyone to get) Well my dr office called me and I failed of course just our luck this whole pregnancy. So today I am in the middle of getting a 3 hour glucose test and they have to draw my blood 4 seperate times and it is really getting quite annoying. After today we will know whether or not I have the gestational diabities which basically means I will be diabetic until the baby is born, but after that go back to normal.

We have gotten into Clints classroom finally and are starting to set little things up here and there and get him as organized as possible. He has been going to meetings since monday from 830-4 and will continue to do so until the 8th when he goes and meets at Sunset and has meetings and what not there until school starts the 15th. I start tending again on the 8th as well so we are trying to get last minute things all finished up before then. We hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying their summers.

Summers End...

I can't believe how fast this summer has gone by. A lot has happened, but at the same time nothing has happened. We have 3 months exactly until our little baby is due and we are counting down the weeks. Clint has to start going to meetings and what not on the 30th of this month and so we only have about 2 weeks of Freedom before all of that starts. Before school actually starts we are going to get Clints Classroom ready, we have been buying random things for his classroom and he is so excited.School actually starts on the 15th of August and I will start tending again. It is going to be so nice to get back into the swing of things and back to a regular routine. Once that all happens I believe the time will fly by until the 19th of October when the baby is due. :) Wahoo, I cant believe it really is so close.

Whats New.....

Well nothing really exciting has happened since my last post, but I feel like its time for a new one. We are just waiting for Clint to get the okay to start doing stuff for his classroom. It is so exciting all the stuff we are going to get to do to get him ready. Our Baby comes in just about 3 months and I am getting very anxious. It is the strangest thing to be watching your belly and all of the sudden see this little jolt like poke out of your stomach, its actually kinda freaky. I know 3 months isnt that long, but since it has been over a 100 degrees every singe stinkin day and I am 6 months pregnant in just 1 week and it has been very miserable the last week or so. My feet, ankles and fingers have just started to get a little swollen and the heat doesnt help gosh dangit, but I must say it is all worth it.

Our Baby

We had another ultra sound today, to make sure everything was okay with the baby since I was high risk from the beginning. She is perfect and both Clint and I can feel her kick from the outside of my belly. It is the craziest thing that there is something let alone someone growing inside and moving all around. It is the neatest greatest feeling ever. These are just a couple of the tons of pictures they gave us, it was fun today because we got the 3d version of her sweet little face. We had them check again to make sure she was still a girl and it wasnt a mistake. We decided that we are going to name her Molly J. the J. stands for janet after clints mom and my grandma, hopefully she looks like a Molly when she comes out:) The first pictures is her face from the front with her hands on her cheek. The second one is just her profile.

I have not been on here for a while life has been so so crazy, Clint got a job teaching 4th grade at Sunset Elementary. He is so excited and can't wait to start teaching, we have been getting stuff ready to put in his classroom. It has been really fun to see how excited he gets about the things he is going to do with his class and the things he wants for his classroom.

Ferron

Well this weekend we went up to Ferron which is about 2 hours north of Richfield. We went up to visit my dad and see how he was doing, and he is doing great, they think he might get out of the care center if he continues to improve. It shocked us all the turn around he has had. While we were in Ferron we helped my grandma and grandpa brand all 50 of their cows. Clint has never been on a farm so all this farm stuff is pretty new to him. He actually had to be in the pen with the cows and making them go where they needed to and make sure they were facing the right way. I didnt have to do anything because I am pregnant so I just wrote things down and ran back and forth to the house. It was so nice to just get away and not have to worry about life in general and actually relax and be able to sleep in. It was so nice up there and we just had so much fun.

Its A Girl...

okay, so Clint and I just got back from our ultra sound appointment and let me tell you, it was amazing. We will be having a little girl October 19th (hopefully a bit before) and are so excited. I had to drink a lot of water and not go potty until after the exam because for some gay reason you have to have a full bladder, I seriously was going to pee my pants and didnt know if I could stand one more minute not only to go potty, but to find out what it was. They dont even look for the gender until the very end so that whole time you are just waiting. Her little face is so cute and she was waiving at us and kept sucking her fingers and thumb. It was so sweet. She even did some flips around but for the life of her would not open those legs until the very very end. It was so exciting and we all just started to cry. I cant tell you the excitement I didnt even know what to do or who to call first. My mom went to the jewelry store right after and bought her, her first bracelet, she is nuts. Thats the latest from us. These pictures are of the ultra sound one is her profile, one is her head and her hand in her mouth, and one is her last picture giving us a thumbs up.

Life is too Short

I have a whole new outlook on life and why we are here, I have never felt so close to my heavnly father than this week. Well, this last week has been very crazy I am both physically and emotionally exhausted. My dad got put in the hospital on Friday and then on Monday we (me, my sister, and my grandma) had to take him up to Ferron and put him in a care center because he is too much for any of us to take care of. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. His liver as completely stopped working so now it is only a matter of days if not weeks before he returns to heaven and has a healthy body again. We are just taking it day by day and hoping he is not in pain which he is not because the toxins that are in his body are acting as a pain killer that is stronger than a morphine so I guess that is a releif. He spends most of his time sleeping so hopefully one day when his body has had enough he will just peacefully go to sleep and not wake up. As sad as it has been and hard to deal with I know that he is going to be better off and why have him suffer anymore than he should have to, why should anyone suffer when they could be healthy and happy in heaven. So that is why I have been so busy and not been on this blog thing forever. Everything is going to work out the way it is suppose to so we just have to let it be.
