I'm A big Girl Now!!!

After posting about Molly being 15 months old, I really started to feel how old she really is. Just a couple things that have happened this week to prove my point- She has decided that morning naps are for babies, and is boycotting it to the fullest so we are done with morning naps! She is on a one a nap schedule. It has been a little difficult to transition to because by 11 she is a little tired, but sleeps so much better when I put her down between 12:30-1:00. She has also been bottle free for 3 days now and went off of them without a hitch. She has been awesome at it and hasn't even asked for a bottle. She actually calls her sippy cup "ba ba". She has also mastered the spoon and fork concept really well and eats better with either utensil. She is growing up so fast I just can't believe it. It makes me kinda sad thinking about it, but at the same time she is so fun right now and it is so fun to see the world through her eyes and to watch her learn and grow everyday. I can't wait to see what new things tomorrow will bring.
Isn't that smile so dang cute! O I just want to squeeze her....
We had to lower her crib mattress since she is climbing on and in everything these days and she thought jumping on her mattress was pretty cool.

Molly mastering the fork with mac and cheese.(she usually hold it with her right hand)

The below pictures are from my phone so they aren't that great, but I thought they were so cute! The first one is the first time we put her hair in "big girl" piggy tails. She looked so old with her hair like this instead of 2 piggies on top of her head that look like paint brushes. The other pictures are from the other day when we went to the park. She loves it more and more every time we go.

We also just got news that we have a new nephew ( our first nephew): Congrats Dave and Ashley- they had a little boy tonight: Zachary- We are so happy now Molly has 2 new cousins in only a matter of weeks! This picture is the picture Janet sent me on my phone:)

15 months Old

My baby girl is 15 months old today, I just can't believe how big she is getting. We have been trying to decided when to get rid of the bottle and binkie, but I just can't decide. She is learning more and more things every single day. She is slowly growing out of the 2 naps a day, this transition to 1 nap is a bit challenging, we will see if it last of if she still needs the 2 naps. She is learning a lot of animal sounds and love to see them in books or real life. She is so funny and loves when people laugh at her because she laughs back. She is really into climbing right now onto the couch is her specialty. She has not mastered it yet, but has a stool to give her a little boost. She loves her baby dolls a lot lately- picks them up kisses them, pats their backs on her shoulder, lay them in the bed or stroller with a blanket on top of them with their bottles. Such a good little mommy, aside from the picture of the baby upside down in the last post:)! She eats so well and is still a pretty big girl. In fact I took her to the Dr. for her 15 month check up and someone thought she was 2!!!! 2 my baby is only 15 months old and someone thought she was 2!!!!! She weighs 25.6 lbs (85%) and 31 1/2 in (85%) She is above average and has been since they started charting her when she was a wee little tike! Some of her latest and greatest accomplishments are:

Knows what a-
duck says: "buack, buack"
cow says: "mmmmmmmoooaaa"(something like that with clenched lips)
dog says: "ru, ru"
lion says: "rrrrrrrrooooaaaaaa" (hasn't perfected this one quite yet, still working on it)

Newest words: "daw"-dog
"ball"

She also shakes her head and knows what "no" and "yes" means really well, especially when she doesn't want to do something or eat something she's got the "no" nod down.

Favorites-

Food-chicken nuggets, ham and chz sandwich, chips, bananas, yogurt, applesauce
Songs-Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Shows- still holds Mickey Mouse Clubhouse near and dear to her heart
Books- Minnie's Dance, any touch and feel animal book
Things to do- play at the park, play with her little friends, read books on mommy/daddy's lap, push her own stroller or the cart at any store!

She has also gotten really good at feeding herself with both a fork and spoon and really likes to drink out of a real cup. My baby is getting so independent and I don't know that she qualifies for the baby category anymore, I think she has officially entered into toddlerism~ I love you Molly J. Happy 15 mo. Birthday!

Sleeping Beauty

I realized last night as my little lady was sleeping I have not taken a picture of her doing so in quite some time. In her jamies all sprawled out on my bed since we were snuggling watching Greys Anatomy while Clint was at work, she just looked so long. I couldn't believe how much older she looked at that moment. So I had to snap some pictures. She just looked so sweet and peaceful. I love this little butterball!

Future Mommy for sure! I bet she is going to be such a good mommy I mean look how carefully placed her baby is. She has been really obsessed with babies lately and loves to push her baby in the stroller and puts the dolls extra clothes and blanket over her usually. She also brings the baby to me so I can give it a kiss then I hand it back and she is on her marry little way with her baby in tow. What a funny little child I have.

Love Bug

These are some shots I am doing for Molly's 15 month old pictures- I couldn't resist posting them. I love how they turned out and I think she is the cutest Valentine ever. She is so fun to take pictures of, but at the same time very hard to get a good smiling pictures she gets to concentrated on things and won't smile for the camera very often. I guess it is the age! So here are some of the pictures I have taken of my little love bug.
This is one of the few smiling ones and I think she is looking so grown up and sweet as ever.
Not wanting to participate, just about time for the bribes!
Laughing @ her daddy
One happy baby----for now!
Add a little sugar and she is sweet as can be....
mmmmm..........
I absolutely love her luscious lips in this picture.
My sweet angel baby girl
When you take a sucker away from a one year old this is the reaction...
"Don't you take another picture of me.....PLEASE"
So we give in once again with the sugar, look at those alligator tears. I love this little piece of heaven so much. She adds such a sweetest to our lives and makes me wanna be a better person and mommy to her every single day. She is my sunshine and I love her so much. Being her mommy is the greatest gift in this whole world. I love you Lil' babe!

Radness

I must admit my kid is the Raddest! I am always laughing at her and with her too, but she is the funniest little thing. She loves these dress up shoes I found at the dollar spot at Target. She knows that they make sound on the tile and not the carpet. I also found that crown at the same place and she acts like she is the coolest thing when she has it on and will leave it and the shoes on for hours. Today she brought me the tutu so we made a little dress-up out of it all! What a funny little girl I have-She has been battling an ear ache and sinus infection for a while now and is finally starting to act herself.

No Tutu or Tiara, but isn't that gut the best??? ( we were tending so the house is a bit on the messy side with kids running all over its bound to happen)
The other day we dressed her up to go to lunch to see Daddy @ Pasta- I thought she looked adorable, but I am her mother so I am bias!

Mindi bought Molly this outfit for Christmas and Ally got the same one so when Ally wore it on Friday we decided to dress Molly in her outfit. They looked so cute so we had to snap some pictures.

Ally can always make Molly laugh and smile. Molly gets so excited when Ally knocks on the door or when we come down to see if Ally is awake from her nap so they can play a little before Ally goes home.

Molly, Molly, Molly

I know some of you may think to yourself when reading or seeing our blog " all she does is talk about Molly, doesn't she have anything else going on?" The answer is "NO" Molly is my life, I spend most all my days with her and everything she does is exciting, so I hope that is okay, she is what makes my life interesting. And if I blogged more about Clint or I you would probably not come back to our blog because we are totally BORING:) She brings us so much happiness even when she is being her naughtiest(Na, not molly- although she did get on the naughty list Christmas eve) Anyways this last little while Molly has been pretty cute- So I will just post some pictures and little stories as I go. (PS: there are kind of a lot of pictures)

Molly Loves to sweep/mop the floor so for Christmas she got this little broom and daily pushes it along the floor, carpet or tile.
Playing with all her bows that we found in the car and downstairs, she is constantly taking them out and trying to put them back in her hair.
My happy little sunshine!
This is one of my favorite new hairstyles I can do with Molly's hair, she doesn't have much so we can only do piggies, one pony or just a clip in it and now this nifty do, I love it!
She loves to sit in her chair, or on her bench and read her books. I love that sweet little face.

On Saturday we decided to go to the park, it was way too cold and windy so after lunch we came home and it wasn't windy anymore so we got the ball out and the below picture and a couple below that are from that day, Molly thought it was so funny to chase the ball-just as she would get close I would kick it again, timeless giggles.

Chasing the Ball and giggling all the way!
Still chasing the ball, I thought this picture was so funny-isn't she rad?

Today I got back on my scrapbooking and Molly wanted to join me, she was getting or trying to get into everything so I gave her some stickers to play with and this is what we got. I had taken the stickers off a couple different times, but even when her dad got home she still had stickers on her face and shirt. She even went into Pasta like that cuz she just kept putting them back on even after she took them off herself. She is such a funny little thing. O how I love her!

Lastly- I tend a couple little kids throughout the week- One in particular Trey is just three months older than Molly- They love to play with each other and sometimes they bully each other, but they are so dang cute. I gave them both a cracker for a snack and they both went to the bench. Trey even gave Molly some kisses. They also LOVE to read books or drink their bottles on the crafty little bench that Cody made for Molly for Christmas.

Molly's first little boy friend- Arent they just adorable?

Sorry for the picture overload, but I had so many and could not just choose one from each event:)- We hope you have a good day!

Happy Birthday Uncle Ky Ky

Happy Birthday Uncle Ky Ky----- Ky is turning 19 on Mon. January 5th

Molly loves her uncle Ky Ky so much, in fact he is still the only name she can say besides Mama and Dada! She loves when she sees uncle KyKy and especially when he has Mt. Dew, she will point and beg him for some and he usually obliges. He calls her "chug" and I think he is going to miss her so bad when he leaves on his mission and in turn Molly is going to miss him so much, she will be 3 yr. old almost 3 1/2 when he gets back from Taiwan. So we are going to put this picture in her room while he is gone. Ky got her this Jazz jersey so she can support the team while he is gone and she can bum with him and his buddies while they watch the games for good luck. Happy Birthday Ky we love ya!
