We decided to dye Easter Eggs yesterday after Molly woke up from her nap. I put her in a T-shirt because I knew she would be all over the place and probably dye herself a little bit. I was right! She spilled the green, dropped a couple eggs (but not a one cracked even the tiniest bit), and kept wanting to stick her finger in all the colors. We had so much fun, she was too little last year so this is her first time and it was a lot of fun. She thought it was so neat and could point to any color I asked her. She got all 5 right-orange,blue,green,red, and yellow. It was a good activity to do and it kept her entertained for quite some time. Can't wait to start doing more projects with her because she is getting bigger and understands a little bit more. We also can't wait for the Easter Egg Hunt this weekend. We don't know which one we are going to, but it will be fun.
Checking out all the colors, before we got started...
Dipping an egg in the Yellow with the scooper thing...
Admiring her fine work-She loves to pick the eggs up and kiss them-goofy girl...
Kissing her fine work... She kisses EVERYTHING....
All our eggs laid out to view are great happy work...
We hope everyone has a great Easter Weekend...

On a Brighter Note....
Molly Being Molly....
Molly's new favorite thing, the PIANO! We listen to very beautiful music now a days from our budding musician.
I have had a great source of comfort with my dad passing away because I have this little ball of energy to take care of and laugh and smile with every single day, it makes it hard to stay sad for too long. Who could want anything more than this funny little thing to be with every day. She found my headband and knew exactly what to do with it. She thought she looked so pretty.

We tried sponge curlers in her hair, I didn't have time to take a picture of the after product, but she looked so stinking cute, after the first of the week I will do it again and take a picture of it all done. She is just too cute, I can't stand it. I love this kid.....
I think this picture speaks for itself, I think it is so funny with a little Molly Attitude at its best...
Cody and Grandpa Steve rode the 30 mile bike tour or St. George a week ago. I knew my dad could do it, but had no idea that Cody would actually finish. How bout that? Way to go Grandpa Steve and Uncle Cody!

A Guardian Angel-Grandpa Greg
I am not looking forward to writing this post, but it must be done. We have a new Guardian Angel watching over us. My sweet dad passed away today in the late afternoon. He has been battling some health issues for quite some time now. 2 years ago this May his health was quite bad, they told us he would probably not last 2 more days. Well here it is almost 2 years later and he just barely past. He got better that August while I was still pregnant with Molly. He told me he wasn't going to go because he needed to see my baby girl, and my sister get married.(My sister is not married, but he has got to see her grow up to a beautiful youg woman) So he did get to see my baby girl and was one proud grandpa. 3 weeks ago we had to put him in a care center where he could be monitored and such because my grandma couldn't do it anymore. His health rapidly went down since then and we have thought he was going to go for quite a few days. I know it is his style to go out with a bang so he picked April Fools Day! It is just like him he was quite the joker, and pretty crazy at that, he was also VERY stubborn. He truely "lived" his life to the fullest he could. He always made us laugh and gave us a good story. With his health issues and previous accidents (Coal Mine Cave in, Boat wreck, and 4 really bad car wrecks) He should have died many times, but didn't. I always said he had 20 lives, but it was his time.I am so happy for him to be out of his sick body with a failing liver. If he would not have been on pain meds, he would have suffered a lot. He was on pain meds and since he was terminal they pretty much do everything they can to make you comfortable. So that's what we did, the last week I have spent every day with him. It has been a very long, draining, sad-yet happy week. My Grandma, Molly, and I have spent a lot of time watching all the old people at the care center, I guess it gave us some things to laugh about in this sad time. Needless to say, we are relieved for him, no more sick body, no more pain, no more suffering. He taught me a lot and I will surely miss him. The past like 7 months I have called him everyday to see how he was doing. The past 2 weeks I have not been able to since he has not been able to answer. It is the thing I will miss most, aside from him of course. I know he will be watching over me from heaven and watch my children grow too. I loved him so much and can't wait till I will see him again dancing in the clouds in a healthy body.
Thanks Dad, I love you, and will miss you!!

17 Months Old
My little Miss Molly is 17 months old already(on the 26th), I just can't believe it. In one more month she will be a year and a half. She will be legal to be in the nursery (even though she just comes with me now since I am in nursery) She truly has changed my life forever. She is such a joy, there are days when she is being such a little stinker and I just look at her cute little face and forget about all the little tiffs she has thrown, or the whiny moments from the day or all the pee accidents she has had. She is such a little firecracker, she just goes and goes and goes. She is so full of life and it is so fun to see the world through her eyes. She has been really into kissing lately- If you ask for a kiss she gives you a sweet little kiss on the lips(it used to be she let you kiss her cheek) then if there are more people in the room she proceeds to kiss them. This morning Clint gave me a kiss bye and Molly walked up to him for her kiss, then she went over to Trey(a little guy I tend) and tried to kiss him-he ran! She is more and more affectionate and loves to run around saying "mama mama mom mama mama mom" She is a mommy's girl for sure, and I would not have it any other way. I just love her more and more every single day, I didn't know it was possible to love such a little thing more than I did the day she was born.
17 month things....
~LOVES to be outside, cries when she has to come in
~Loves her baby, she still wont say baby, but loves it just the same
~Could push her baby stroller all day long if I let her
~Can point out the colors -yellow, green, red and blue
~Can say "blue"
~Loves her shape and color movie maybe a little more than Mickey at the moment
~Knows what a duck, dog, cow and elephant say
~Getting really good at following directions
~Pretty much got this potty training thing DOWN
~Could also play with her "busy ball popper" all day long
~Has a silky she likes to carry around and suck on
~Doesn't pull her bows out hardly EVER
~ Finally doesn't eat every crayon she gets her hands on and actually uses them correctly
I can't really think of anything else that is big for this past month. She still has a pretty small vocabulary, I keep seeing other little babies that talk way more than her, but she understands everything so I think she is just taking it all in and will just bust a move and say a lot of words any day now... She is still a little girl. Her vocab is of this: mama, dada, uh-oh(her fav at the moment), wo, do(dog) du(duck) blue, ball, dat(that), dis(this)... I don't think much else, I just have to give it time and not compare her to other kids her age or younger, and stop worrying. For heaven sakes she's already potty trained right????~Loves her baby, she still wont say baby, but loves it just the same

I got this sweet dress when I went to Ecuador 4 years ago, I thought it was so cute and would be beautiful and mean something to me on my future little girl. I did not know I would have a girl first, but have been so excited to put this on her and if finally fits. It is cream color with little orange flowers- Made in Ecuador and reminds me so much of the little kids that I fell in love with there- I will admit it made me a little teary when I put it on her.
Sweet Sweet Sweet- Need I say more? And, just for good measure I have to throw these in because they totally show what a RAD little girl I have. O she keeps me laughing all day long.(there from my phone so not that great)

O and some BIG news - SHE WENT ALL DAY LONG WITH PANTIES ON AND NO ACCIDENTS!!!!!!!(usually she has atleast 1 accident)

Splish-Splash---
This past week for Spring Break we just stayed in town. We had a pretty relaxing week, we just did our own thing pretty much with no real schedule. It was a lot of fun. Most of our days were spent outside at the park or the Splash Pad. It was so much fun, on Wed. we went to the park with some friends and then on Thurs, Fri, and Sat. We went to the Splash Pad. It was so much fun, the water was a little cold at first, but Molly didn't seem to mind.- The first trip to the Splash Pad Molly loved every second and was running right into all the water with no fear. Day 2 wasn't as successful, she was playing and having a lot of fun till she fell and hit her head on a metal thing in the ground, and continued to fall throughout the trip so we didn't stay very long. On Saturday she also had a blast, she was getting sorta tired so we didn't play for all that long, but she loved it none the less. I noticed her swimsuit getting pretty beat up just in that first day so I didn't want her to ruin all her suits so this cute striped beauty will be her rough and tough rock scrapping splash pad suit. She loved it so much, I am sad to see Spring Break over, but there are only 9 more weeks of school I think???? I am seeing more Splash Pad dates in our future for sure probably on a weekly basis depending on the weather that is.
Splish Splash...No fear in this child!
O isn't she so cute, I cant resist her cuteness....
Sweet Cousin Mya came for a day at the splash pad too....
Look at that cute girl and those ever so chubby thighs- I can't resist giving her thighs a squeeze at least once daily:)
Molly really enjoyed the water, I am so excited for the summer- Only about 9 more weeks till that time will arrive and we can hardly wait.

Potty Training
Well, about 2 weeks ago we started Potty Training. Molly was showing all the signs of being ready and everyone was telling me to just do it because if I didn't do it when she showed she was ready, I would miss it and it could be years before she actually got it. I was a little worried about it because She was just 16 months old at the time and there wasn't/isn't a whole lot of communication coming out of her yet. She has little q's that we watch now and know when she needs to go potty. A lot of the time she will walk into the potty and we follow her and put her on and wa-la success. She has been doing really well. Each time she goes she gets a Princess Sticker and some M&M's. She doesn't care about the candy as much as her stickers. If you ask her if she went potty she looks directly at her arm @ her stickers. For a while I would stay home all day long until later in the day after naps and all that if I needed to run somewhere we would put her in a diaper. Just because we weren't brave enough to take her in public and pee everywhere. Well we did that for like 2 weeks-Home only Panties except for nap. Public Diaper, with regular potty spots. A lot of the time her diaper stayed dry the entire trip into town. Just this week I finally braved it and have taken her to her grandmas houses with success of no accidents in the car or while we were there. Monday we took her in town to get some things at Costco, and exchange something at Old Navy all the while in her panties. She did awesome, we took the long way home and she had a lot of Milk to drink in the car and so knew she would probably have an accident. A block from our house she peed in her seat, I would say that is pretty good for how little she is. We are keeping it up and seeing improvement every single day.
Way to go Molly J!
(Click the pictures to make them bigger)
These pictures are from the first 4 days. I took her picture in the morning and made account of her success and accidents. As you can see from day 1 to day 4 was a HUGE improvement, and it has gotten even better since. Now she may have one accident a day, if that.
My little girl is growing up so fast, and with each new day is a new trick she learns. She definitely keeps us on our toes. We love you Smooshy!

Scrapes, Parks, and Parties...
This weekend has started off awesome! Clint and I have like 10 days off of our jobs because of Spring Break cuz he is a teacher, and the kids I tend parents are teachers-So Break for US YEAH!! We are going to do some spring cleaning and have a ton of fun in the sun!
Anyways, a couple days ago we went to the park to throw rocks in the pond and feed the ducks and play around a little. Molly fell and scraped her knee. It didn't even bother her, I didn't even know she had done it. Then since I cleaned it off and it was bloody so I put a band-aid on it and she has been extremely worried about it and just wants us to keep kissing it. She will sit in her car seat and if she can see it she points- and pushes on it and says "uh-oh" and keeps whining about it until you kiss it better. It is so funny and sweet at the same time.
Molly's First Real "boo-boo", she is so rough and tough, yet still very girly.
Miss Molly having an afternoon snack, after playing hard at the park. Catchin up on some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
I love how she is so pleased with her choclatey treasure, a girl after my own heart.
Today I called Becky to see if she wanted to go to the park-she agreed and we went to the "dizzy" park. The girls had a blast, her girls were getting over being sick and Molly has an ear infection so we didn't last too long(now that I think about it it was like 1 1/2 hrs-whoops, lost track of time) , but it was still a blast.
Could Ayla be any cuter????
Molly liked this thing, but not for too long. She has the biggest smile.
Yes, the slide....
Then tonight we went to Ben and Becks and Molly loved playing with the big kids. She loved being with Daisy and the other little girls. It is so weird because I started to tend Daisy when she was 5 months old and now she is turning 10! I just can't believe it, it makes me feel like an old geezer!
My sweet precious girls. Daisy, Molly, Halli, Tes and Ayla, O how I love these little ladies with all my heart.
Could this be any sweeter- Tes just turned 6 Happy Birthday sweet girl.
Just had to throw this in cuz no one is paying attention and it is silly.

A Little this A little That...
Airplanes:
A couple weekends ago after church we went to my parents for dinner and to watch my little brother fly his plane. This is pretty serious stuff, I was like that would be so easy to fly. Well Cody dared let me fly it and well lets just say if he would not have been standing right next to me the plane would have nose dived and been ruined. That is one tricky thing to fly, and it is very touchy. Molly loved watching it in the air, but didn't like it by her if the motor was on. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.
Trying to figure out what this thing was.
Grandma and Grandpa Perry
This is just one of my favorite pictures. I don't know if its the coloring or what, I just love it.
Noodles:
Molly has a favorite cupboard @ Grandma Broadheads and one evening she decided to break into that cupboard and break open a bag of macaroni noodles. She just kept picking them off the floor and eating them. Funny little girl. She loves to do this kind of thing, but I guess she is just figuring this big world out one mess at a time.

"I'll have this one, and this one, and o yes, this one looks tasty"
Future Cupcake Decorator:
This week my mom let me know about a little cooking class one of her friends does at Ben Franklin that is free. So today I put Molly and Ally down for early naps so we could make it to the little class. It was so cute they have stools lined up around the counter and today they were decorating cupcakes. They filled them with "gold" which was like the cream in a doughnut. Then they frosted them green for St. Patrick's Day. Molly actually did spread some frosting on the cupcake, but really liked dipping her little spatula thing in the frosting and having it make its way to her mouth. I think we will have to do this more often, Molly really enjoyed it. There are more around town we might have to check out as well.
Sneaking some Frosting
Actually putting some frosting on her little cupcake
Me and my best girl. She has been so fun lately and has been learning new things all the time. I just can't believe how grown-up she is. It doesn't help that everything that makes her a baby is slowly disappearing. First Bottles, now she is basically potty trained-which means no diapers, our next jump is the Binkie, but that is going to have to wait a while because I want her to still be my baby for a little while longer. More on potty training and Molly's new tricks later.

Uncle Ky Ky
Today has been bitter sweet for us. Kyle got his mission call at the first of December and we thought then that it was forever away. Well not so, He left for the MTC this morning to start this 2 year journey. We are so proud of him and although he just left, can't wait for him to come back. We are excited to watch him grow and send back great stories from Taiwan. Molly is going to be about 3 1/2 when he comes back and that just makes it seem like such a long time, but it will go faster than we think. We love you Ky, Good Luck and I promise Clint wont break your Xbox I will make sure of that......
Last night, Clint and I had the opportunity to go listen to Kyle get set apart. The spirit was so strong and it made him less nervous and totally excited. It was so neat to be a part of that, thanks for sharing guys. Then afterwords we went over to Broadheads to say our goodbyes since we didn't think it was a good idea to take Molly 4 hours up and back in the same day. So last night we said goodbye and it was pretty tough. His only request was that Clint didn't break his x box and Molly wear her Jazz Jersey that he gave her all the time and he wants pictures of it. We love our uncle KyKy!!! These pictures are from last night when Ky got set apart.
